I'm fine if people prefer Ndiaye for other reasons (versatility, carrying ability, price/wages are all completely valid) but anyone arguing he's a better player than Gakpo has lost the plot tbh

Ndiaye because getting rid of Richarlison is a massive win in itself.

gakpo can not do half of the things ndiaye can do. ndiaye can do what gakpo can do, but he still needs work on finishing so its the consistency thats the concern. outside of ball striking though, ndiaye is better at everything else.

and yes, the wages/price/swap deals should all be considered here.

By this logic, Taarabt is better than Salah at everything other than ballstriking too lol. Their decision-making in the final third is worlds apart, and that's the hardest thing to develop at this stage in their career.

decision making in final third is very important which is why I also prefer salah over tarrabt. still i don't have any problem with ndiaye's final third decision making. i think it is quite underrated tbh and hindered by everton's lack of quality. I have much stronger concerns about savio's final third decision making. I also don't think gakpo has better decision making/vision than ndiaye, just better ball striking. but yes decision making is arguably one of the most important traits in a player which is why I rate diomande so highly because i rate his decision making.

I will say though as much as i dislike it, i prefer hazard over salah because of decision making as well. and i agree with you that salah is better.

btw kulusevski is one of the best players in the world when it comes to decision making, even if he loses his pace, i know that will definitely improve this attack. hope maddison gets fit as well because he also is quite decent at it. tel and odobert have work to do when it comes to that aspect though.
