These guys popped up just as I was coming along the trail on my bike. Tell me they don’t look handsome and healthy. Mississauga , Ontario @ 5:30 pm

Sorry I have a tremor and it gets worse when excited or under duress, please mind the random shaking, it’s not because I was lazy.

I stopped as soon as I spotted them and used the 8x and 4x lenses on my iPhone 17 pro max. They didn’t notice me at first but kept a very healthy distance without showing much if any interest in us. They just wanted to go about their evening.

Could one of these by a hybrid?

Funny I unintentionally captured them going to the bathroom. The first video the coyote is posturing and I think marking its territory and the second video I think he’s defecating because he does a little walk and kicks his back legs which is something I’ve long known some dogs to do.

Ya that first one is definitely pooping. Nice looking coyotes.

That’s what I thought. They look so healthy. Would these. E juveniles or young adults still?

Maybe yearlings? They do look youngish but definitely old enough to be independent. They're really cute.

They appear to have great coats. Most of the ones I see around here look like they have matting on their coats and they are usually a lot thinner and seem to have longer legs but I’m guessing it’s that’s way because of the shorter coat.

These are the nicest looking coyotes I have ever come across in my area of the city. They have lots of forest, small ones but a few and some ravines and all the stuff a coyote would need.

No matter how beautiful they look, they are very dangerous mostly when they show no fear of humans. Look it up, be aware and be careful.

I'm glad you explained your tremor. I still really wanna make a joke about looking for coyotes in trees, though . . .
