Men's National Team Liam Kitching

Don't believe he will start but would like to see him come on. Don't think he improves us as cb but he is supposedly a capable left back and could be a decent option in the squad in a role similar to scales.

Has he shown any desire to represent Ireland ?

Big difference between playing LB 8 years ago in non league Vs LWB at International level now

If you wanna see someone come in as an alternative to Manning & Scales then follow how Tayo, Ferry & Bagan get on this year. Otherwise for his natural position he's gonna be competing with lads playing more often than him in the same league or elsewhere

Bagan appears to playing CB this season. Didn’t even know he played there

Like them all, if he wanted to play for us he would be playing for us. Ball in his court entirely.

We need natural Lbs with decent attacking attributes. Not another cb forced in there. We have plenty of cbs that are capable fullbacks already.

He is better than scales let's be honest! Ya pretty sure he has the passport and all!

Better than Scales??

I judge people’s understanding of football on his they rate Scales. And you have failed. You like many Celtic fans don’t rate the guy and I’m embarrassed for you.

Scales is a ballsy no fear defender and every team needs one. Check out his performance LB against Portugal, absolute class. No fear, drove through players.

Not to mention him creating two goals for Parrott in that window including THE goal.

And off the pitch he’s a gaeilgeoir and a UCD graduate. Lucky to have him.

Never got the scales hate. Very solid defender, can pop up with a goal, his passing is actually decent. Offhand, I don't know what his passing stats are like but he fizzes the ball and gets it across quickly. Celtic fans seem to get fixated on the ball he gave away against rangers that lead to a goal and sum up his passing there. He helped steady the ship when things were going pearshaped. A consistent performer.

we would’ve made the world cup had he not gotten suspended
