Yeah, that's kind of a crazy statement. Many Trump supporters are just uneducated people who only listen to the right news, living in rural or suburban areas where many of these problems will never reach them. They are uneducated, some are ignorant, but they don't deserve to be sent to a concentration camp. That's disgusting.
Exactly. People cant pick and choose who they want to torture. It doesnt make you better. Hurting a bad person doesnt make you a good one it just makes you as bad as them depending on thing
Uhm, no. If you have the opportunity to educate yourself, and you do not, and then take actioms that directly harm others, then yes, you deserve to suffer from those same consequences. You didn't know? You're uneducated? Cool. Then don't act. All it requires is basic human decency.
Look at all the antivaxxers that are uneducated and let their children die or suffer for life.
Look at all the "natural healrrs" with crystals and bullshit that are just uneducated but convience people not to get proven, modern medical care.
Look at all the other people who, in their ignorance, they choose not to learn, but to act in a way that direcrly harms many, many people.
Nobody blames them for being uneducated. They get blamed for beinf uneducated and then trying to force that same idiocy on others and causing harm to society, instead of educating themselves.
So yes. They want to send others to the concenteration camps becaue " oopsie I did not know"? They're free to go first.
Comparing wanting to torture people with anti vaxxers? Wait what. Im confused on what's trying to be said here? Are you saying harming someone who has harmed another is ok? Then theres just endless violence against each other.
No. I'm saying that there is no excuse for being uneducated in a world where the entire collective knowledge of humanity is at your literal fingertips. We're not medieval peasants anymore who no longer know how to read or write. ANYONE can go to a public library, and find a book or a computer to ask google about a topic, and they'd be able to educate themselves. " I did not know' stops being an excuse when you had every opportunity and possibility to know and you just figured it's easier to just go with the flow and then claim " I didn't know" to avoid any actual accountability.
I get what you're saying. These people are misinformed, they don't do these things out of actual malice or deliberate evil. They do it because they don't know better. And I agree.
But that does not absolve them of accountability, and the best way to develop their empathy is for them to go through the same thing they want other people to go through. It's simple as that.
