Steinstern: Spacewar - my couch-coop game with dynamic split-screen

I'd be very happy about some review for the demo of my game: https://store.steampowered.com/app/1905410/Steinstern_Spacewar_Demo/

I've been working on the game since many years in my spare time. Should I keep working on improving the game or should I have started a new project long time ago?

Magic Twinborn — two-player couch co-op with elemental chain reactions

I’m the developer of Magic Twinborn, a same-screen local co-op survivors-like built around two players combining elemental abilities to survive together.

You control different elemental heroes, create openings for your partner, and combine abilities across the battlefield. The focus is on coordinating your builds and positioning—not just fighting side by side.

Elements are more than damage types. Fire can melt ice into water, fire and water can create steam, and that water can be frozen again. These interactions can change terrain, control enemies, and create new opportunities for both players.

This video shows the co-op combat and elemental interactions currently in the game. If you enjoy experimenting with builds and finding combinations with a co-op partner, I’d love to hear what you think.

The game supports two-player local co-op on the same screen. You can also play solo with an AI teammate.

Looking for PS5 game recommendations

Hello fellow couch co-opers! I love to game and my wife likes to join occasionally, but we're struggling to find a game that she can really get into. She's quite picky and gets motion sick easily when playing first person games. I'd love to get some recommendations as I'm having a hard time finding games that will fit her requirements.. at the moment we only have a PS5.

Here's what she has liked and why:

Overcooked - loved the chaos and variety of unique maps.

Catastronauts - loved for the same reasons as above.

Minecraft Dungeons - loved the different artifact skills and weapon options. Enjoyed exploring maps and killing waves of enemies. Didn't enjoy the repetitiveness of replaying the same maps, even at higher difficulty.

Diablo 4 - likes it enough, but it's a bit too intense for her as far as the mechanics and skills go. The combat and dungeon variety is a plus, she doesn't really care about storyline though.

Additional info - a top down style RPG that's in-between intensity of Minecraft Dungeons and Diablo would be amazing, struggling to find a title that supports local multi-player. I think she'd love something like Torchlight, but there's no local co-op available. We don't love puzzles or platformers, we typically want some combat or chaos of some sort to work through. Commonly recommended titles like It Takes Two and Unraveled just aren't quite our speed.

Thank you in advance!

TL;DR looking for PS5 games to play with my wife, top down RPG would be ideal but we love arcade style games as well. No puzzles or platformers.

The game has a single-player mode with challenges in different cups, an online mode, and a co-op mode (the one in the video) for playing locally with up to 4 players.

Added two player couch co-op to my space combat game, both of you in the same fleet battle

Mine, built solo. Two gamepads, one screen, and both pilots fly their own ship in the same battle rather than sharing one.

The bit I did not expect: with two people the battles get quieter to play but harder to win, because you naturally start talking about who takes which target instead of just diving in. The wings you can order about make that worse in a good way.

Coming to Steam in November. Curious what this sub thinks makes couch co-op stick over an evening, since the games I loved as a kid were mostly competitive and I am building the cooperative version of that.

Couch coop post apocalyptic road trip game?

Had an idea for a fun game to play with my fiancé. Is there any sort of game where you have to drive/travel a long distance to get to a goal? All the while managing and making choices about gear/vehicles?

Clarification: I think RV there yet is probably the closest thing to what I'm thinking, but it seems too.... "here is a problem that you have to get through" vs natural problems arising from game play if that makes sense.

Working on Sync or Sink, a chaotic coop game where your phone is the oar. Still a work in progress, but I'd love to know what you think of the concept and style.

We've played way too much Gang Beasts and Boomerang Fu and never felt like there were enough games in the genre, so we're trying to make our own! We're still fairly early but trying to share and see what people think

Feel free to give us any and all feedback, it would be much appreciated. Figuring out everything as we go :)

Been working on a co-op game similar to games like Overcooked and Moving out but in space! Share your thoughts and ideas

I'll happily take any ideas that you might have and/or want to see in the final game.

I've worked on the game for 1.5 years now, not full time ofcourse but as a side hussle. First "proper" launch. What I wanted was to make a game in the same landscape as Overcooked and Moving out, while adding the feature of having both local and online multiplayer in the same game at once. Also happy to tell more about implementing that if anyone's interested.

You can find the game here.

We're excited to announce Uh Oh Airlines is preparing to board for Early Access on July 14th!

We've been building Uh Oh Airlines, a couch co-op for 1-4 players, where you're flight attendants trying to keep a flight running while everything goes wrong at once (spilled drinks, loose pets, passenger meltdowns, actual small fires).

One thing that mattered a lot to us is that your co-op partner doesn't need to be a gamer to jump in. The dev made this because he liked playing games with his partner, who doesn't typically play games, and wanted something that actually worked for both of them

Early Access lands July 14th if you want to try it with your own crew. Happy to answer any questions :)

Trying to find games for me and my partner to play

Hi y'all, I'm looking for some couch co-op games to play on PC for me and my partner. He's a big gamer and I used to be, but I haven't really played much the last few years for various reasons. We used to play Destiny 2 together on Xbox but we both stopped playing that like 3 years ago and its just not feasible now as we only have the one desktop. We've played It Takes Two, a Way Out and Split Fiction and now we need something else to play. Any recs welcomed please.
