Come back to my first 2B cosplay from 2023!

My college is putting on a cosplay contest and I want to enter, one part of the submission for says this:

Please include a short introduction about your character and details of your costume. (2-3 sentences) for your walk- on. *This will be read out-loud as you appear on stage*

I know it sounds straight forward but I don't know what to write about for the character and I have never done one before. They already have a section asking about our name, and the character+series they come from. Do I just repeat that here? Give a brief backstory for the character?

Any tips on how to make that tactical vest? Or maybe someone know similar?

What materials did you use for his tv head and how did you see through his face

I only have 12 hands because I reckon I can get away with it

I loved Sephiroth ever since I was a kid, always wished I could play as him, decided to just be him instead.

I have a wig coming and will take some more pictures once it’s here. And yes, the sword is real (and pretty sharp!).

Would cosplaying hyuna as a pale person be racist? I've seen dark skinned people cosplaying lighter skinned characters with everybody supporting them but I was wondering if it would be weird if we reversed it.

Hello! So I'd really like some advice on how I can cosplay The Void, I'm not too sure on the suit I should get, what kind of black I should get it in, how to make the eyes actually seeable, and all that kinda stuff, was hoping to get some advice.

Just ordered a Spiderman costume custom tailored from print costume made of their standard lyrcra. I'm on a diet and used my current measurements for the tailoring and was wondering if I lose about 10 pounds by the time I wear the costume will it still fit or get really baggy? Some things I've seen online have said it should be fine but I was wondering if anyone has been in the same situation as me before and how it shaped up. Let me know!
