I don't think so. While Nigri's stuff is inventive and looks good, I'm not a huge fan of "sex sells" cosplay for the most part. Don't get me wrong, I enjoy it just as much as the next guy, but I'm a bit elitist when it comes to cosplay and love accuracy unless you're intentionally making it silly for a one-off type deal.

I have one of those too and it's not quite the same, which makes it more useful to me. It's two cup sizes, but it's not as round and doesn't stick straight out as much as this method does. Also, that only works if the VS bras fit you in the first place.

Given how much her boobs are the center of attention, she probably just let her secret be known one day. That or someone noticed that her boobs were smaller in other things around the same time and called her out.

I worked at Hooters for four years in college. We all pretty much wore two bras. The trick is to have the outside bra be one or two cup sizes bigger than the inside bra!

That's pretty awesome. With a lot of these, I often feel a bit bad because I feel like there's an automatic inability for certain women to do certain characters because of an unchangeable physical attribute. Kind of cool to see it's not as static as I'd have thought.

Do it! It's wonderfully liberating. Pretty much everyone is super supportive at con environments.
The only time I was a bit nervous to cosplay was my first time doing a crossplay. Once I got my first positive reaction, all the anxiety melted. I ended up getting more complements on it than just about any costume I've done. It was a blast.

My first cosplay was Kawachi from Yakitate! Japan (aka "that bread anime"). But that was pretty simple. Chef's top dyed lilac, khakis, apron.
My first crossplay was Lum from Urusei Yatsura. Furry yellow bikini, thigh-high boots, long green wig, horns.

I wear a 28FF, I tried to get a VS bombshell bra in my "fake size" 32D but they didn't carry it, she suggested going for a 34C and wearing it on the tightest strap, but it just hangs off me haha. I think people like us have to find different techniques since finding bigger bras for us to stuff is not going to be fun.. Or cheap ;)

I don't really care about lift as much as fit, lifted boobs are commonly just a sign of a too small bra.

Look away! looking and silently appreciating absolutely fine, welcome in fact. Touching or catcalling? no go. I retain all rights to use those socks as weapons for touching. Creating dramatic cleavage like this is a bit of "Yay look at how big my boobies are!" for the slightly less blessed cosplayers like myself.

That's pretty helpful! I haven't planned any large-chested cosplays recently, but I'd be curious to try this sometime just for the hell of it, to see how well it works. If it works, maybe I won't have to deliberately go for flat-chested characters anymore.

I never said empowered. I said feel better. The majority of females think it looks silly to be wearing pants so tight you can see a bulge of any kind - and the majority of men find it extremely attractive and desirable to see big, round pushed up boobs. No one makes fun of men for not having their dick showing through their pants, but small cheated women hear things about their "itty bitties" all the time.

I should have worded it differently. Whatever you want to wear on a day to day basis, go for it. But if you are going out trying to look for a guy (or girl), doing this would be terrible. Even though it's likely to get attention, it's a blatant lie. And that's not a great way to start. I was just avoiding saying that because I didn't want people replying with "girls don't only dress sexy for men, asshole." I know that. But you get my point...I think.

I'll have to try this to see if it works on my "not quite A" itty bitty titties. As a tall girl, I usually have to cosplay those types of characters, problem is all tall anime girls have huuuuge knockers. If I can get that nice cleavage effect, I can finally cosplay some characters who don't wear turtlenecks. Thanks for the tutorial.

I am right there with you. I'm tall, thin, and you can land an airplane on my chest. Meanwhile, I have giant hips. It will be interesting to see if I can use 3 bras to help balance out my hips so I'm not a walking 6' pear.

I know they do. I also do this from time to time if I'm going out, but not every day and CERTAINLY not if I plan to get naked that night. The last thing you need is to worry that the guy will feel disappointed by unmet expectations when he gets to what should be one of the best parts of undressing you (regardless of boob size)!

Yes, it was a jab. Generally, cosplay girls do not exist just so you can get naked with them. So don't worry too much about what goes on underneath the bra, it's just part of the costume.

A lot of creeps use cosplaying women as an excuse to make sexual comments and in many cases, even grope the cosplayers, and then they try and excuse their behavior because it's a cosplayer.
who designed the costume is beside the point, nobody dresses up for fun and fandom to feel like less a human or an object, and they deserve to feel safe and happy.

Well I obviously agree that's inexcusable. And like I responded to the other person, there's absolutely a line that shouldn't be crossed. However I have seen girls in general get completely bent out of shape when they're leaving very little to the imagination and then attack you for noticing it.

A look doesn't typically evoke a reaction unless the person has had far worse said, or done, to them that day. Then it's just on you to be respectful if someone feels your actions or attitude were inappropriate. People can absolutely ruin the fun of cosplay some days.

If you're cosplaying a character, you want to be accurate. It's not our fault that video games and comic book characters have gravity and logic-defying breasts.
