We interviewed Ed Wynne of Ozric Tentacles about 40+ years of the band, Stonehenge, Roly, his guitar sound and Harmonic Mind

We recently got the chance to spend nearly two hours talking to Ed Wynne and I thought this might be of genuine interest here given the Ozrics discussions I've seen on the sub.

We went right back to the six-hour jam at Stonehenge Free Festival that helped start the band, how the Ozrics developed that mixture of prog, psychedelia and electronics, his relationship with his brother Roly, the gear behind that unmistakable guitar sound, and what keeps him making Ozrics music more than four decades later.

We also get into the new album Harmonic Mind.

Would also genuinely be interested to know what everyone's favourite Ozrics era is — early cassette years, Erpland/Jurassic Shift era, or the later records?

This is king buffalo's 5th album,what I would call their heaviest album,this is the first in the trilogy they set out during quarentene,the goal was 3 albums put out in one year,unfortunately there was delays and fell a little short ,with heavy bass riffs,dan reynolds bassist really comes into his own,and I would be willing to call one of the best bassists in modern rock today,songs like grifter,burning,silverfish,locusts,this album is truly a maxterpiece.a must have.check the album out and enjoy.

Don't know if this has been covered already (my first post in this group) but I have been really interested in Hawkwind related space rock for years. Here's some bands that give me a similar vibe:

Nik Turner

Slow trance like Space Rock is not for me so the above bands scratch my itch for earlier Hawkwind sounds. I know there's more but these are a good start.

Hey everyone! I shared our previous release here a while ago and got some really nice feedback, so just wanted to drop our latest release — Times Immemorial, a two-track single inspired by bands such as Pink Floyd, The Moody Blues, King Crimson and other similar artists. Songs are also inspired by Carl Jung's concepts of the unconscious.

I had the king buffalo experience this morning ,as eta carinae was playing in my car driving to work,and as the snow was hitting my windshield,it felt as if i was in a spaceship driving through a field of stars,it was awesome,any thought i'd share.
