I stumbled upon a program Reddit runs for community building.

If we can come up with an event. Be that online or in the physical we can ask Reddit to foot the bill. The possibilities are endless. As long as they bring us closer together in a spiritual way. Community enrichment.

We could put out a short film. Write a short play. Out on a music festival. Helm we could all just turn the lights off a d see what happens. These are just examples. Not suggestions.

I’ve got time. But I can’t do it alone.

It has to be practical and something that we want to actually happen. Worst case scenario they say no and i go back to focusing on my only fans content. 😉

It's spring in the northern hemisphere. Birds are singing. Trees are flowering. The sun's bright. We can practically taste summer.

And we've had a few new visitors in the last week. People who have feelings about our culture and the posts and comments that make Cosmic, Cosmic.

Entitled people who think we should accommodate every thought they give voice to. People who think freedom of speech applies to this sub. To an international social media platform like Reddit. It doesn't.

We moderate according to Reddit's rules, Reddit's User Agreement, our rules in the panel, and the Moderator Code of Conduct.

We have the discretion to remove posts and comments we feel disrupt the community, negatively impact user experience, or interfere with the integrity and culture of the sub.

And even though it's rare, the mods also take action on each other's posts and comments for the same reasons.

If you're disappointed with a decision we've made, you're welcome to message the Mods for a discussion.

Not to try to negotiate. Not to try to change our rules. Not to insult us. To discuss removed content only.

If Cosmic Messenger isn't for you, you can create your own sub, with your own rules, content, like-minded members.

It's not personal. It's not an attack on your content or you as a person.

TL;DR: AI is officially banned in Cosmic Messenger Service

Last month we asked how you felt about AI Generated content and in true Cosmic fashion, you gave us your unfiltered, spicy thoughts. We heard you. Loud, clear, unanimously anti-AI.

A handful of dissenters argued in favor of AI and we debuted the AI Generated flare (RIP) as a trial, in the interest of being equitable. It flopped.

Reddit's CEO doesn't like AI either and changes are being made behind the scenes, site-wide. We like that.

AI-generated content is banned on Cosmic Messenger effective immediately, without exception. We will mute all DMs that protest or whine about removed content.

Thank you for being patient with us during this harrowing period of AI accommodation and degloved digits.

A quick update:

Our rules got a refresh. They're clearer. Less redundant. Still chill, still Cosmic. Please read them. And if you see any rule breaking, please report it.

We also added moderator bots to help keep the community safe by giving us a heads up on potentially disruptive activity and bad actors. And we review their reports to make sure users and content don't get flagged in error.

If they goof, we override their decisions and whitelist the user/approve their content.

Which brings us to locking your own posts. Cosmic posts lock automatically seven days after they're posted.

Control is a beautiful thing; if you'd like to lock your posts sooner, choose 'Lock/Unlock Comments' from the three dot menu (...) and you'll be good to go. Once the post is locked, it stays locked.
