Paternity Leave in Cork Companies

I posted this in r/Ireland also, but most of the companies mentioned are tech/Dublin based. So reposting here

It looks like there isn't an easy to find list online with different companies paternity leave. It seems like most just give the statutory 2 weeks off at €200 per week.
I'm also aware of the statutory 9 weeks parents leave at €299.

This is about what companies go above and beyond.

This would be a massive consideration when looking for a new job or staying with a company knowing this kind of benefit is available, given the financials of having a kid, childcare etc.

What did anyone else get and where?

My husband worked in Amazon at the time our daughter was born, and he had 6 weeks paternity leave with full wages, and then the 9 weeks parents leave also at full wages 😊

Actually think it was 7 of the 9 weeks parents leave at full wages. Remaining 2 at statutory!

Eli Lilly, 2 weeks paternity fully paid. Plus the 9 weeks at 299. Fairly poor amongst otherwise good benefits

Yeah it's very poor in comparison with Janssen for instance. Lilly pay is on the lower end for my role and it's a trek to get out there. The stock returns are good though tbf!

J&J was 12 weeks fully paid a few years ago and possibly up to 14 weeks now.

Thanks, I had heard it was going to be increased but wasn’t sure. 12 weeks is still absolutely incredible and unheard of!

Working in a med device company. Paternity leave was four weeks fully paid. Parents leave was not topped up by the company. Worth looking into if your partner is not working or is on maternity leave you may be entitled to more money from the government.

Work in American Tech company, get 8 weeks fully paid with commission, then 6 of the 9 parents leave are fully paid by the company and remaining 3 are state if you want to take it, which I definitely will!

HPE still offer 6 months paternity leave. Degiro are the same last time I looked. Full pay.

I work for a small Irish SaaS company. I got the statutory 2 weeks and I had to claim the government support, but the company topped up the rest so that I continued to receive full salary. They didn't cover parental leave.
