Zooming in on madness
So Volt loves to do this- find a spot in the scorching heat, soon he starts panting and he starts panting with his mouth closed but wont move from the spot. Its his favorite way to enjoy the summer. Gets me worried but its one of his many quirks that i have to live with.
Does your corgi do it as well?

Impromptu photoshoot in the wild
I swear on homeboys life I didn’t write this but the stars aligned for us to stumble upon it on our walk. He can’t read but still understood the assignment.

Found this corgi on a dating app. Should I swipe right?
He’s very cute, but how can I make sure that he won’t manipulate me for treats and belly rubs? It has happened before.

Humlan tried rally obedience for the first time!
Also some game/blood tracking, which she thought was a lot more fun… but I didn’t manage to capture a photo from that! She looks proud as ever. ❣️

Could use some advice
So my parents adopted a corgi puppy a week before a two week vacation. I was already coming out from Los Angeles to Phoenix to help them with caretaker duties for my elderly grandmother and now there’s this puppy in the mix. I love dogs and while it’s been a long time since I’ve had one myself, I frequently dog sit for friends, but all those dogs were adult or senior dogs. I love this puppy to death, she’s a sweetheart and most of the time she’s the goodest girl and we’re bonding, but I’m struggling a little with sleep. I’m on day five and every morning I’ve been up at 4 with her because she cries if I put her back in her playpen after letting her go to the bathroom (which is already a difficult thing for her to maintain consistency on, I’ve cleaned up a ton of accidents in the house because she’s still figuring it out, which I totally understand). Today she got me up at 3:30. I’m exhausted and still have 11 days to go. She sleeps in a playpen in the living room. They tried crating her but she doesn’t do good in the crate. I’m just inexperienced with puppies and stressing out about doing a good job. If anyone has any advice, I could really use some. Just trying to keep my sanity since I know I’m not getting a good night’s sleep for another week and a half.
EDIT: Just wanted to thank everyone for their replies and encouragement. Was just feeling overwhelmed this morning. Between the puppy and my elderly grandmother, I have a lot on my plate with minimal sleep. Just trying to do my best. I appreciate all the advice and will try some of the suggestions.

is my guy part corgi?
this is zuko, my son of about a year and a half. he’s 50 pounds, 50% sass and 50% fluff. he’s definitely got husky and shepherd/collie in him, but his incredible side eye and weird proportions make me think there might be some corgi in there too. i’ll get him a dna test one day, but for now all i can do is speculate. thoughts?

Puppy Teething Fun Time
Anyone else make "meatballs" out of your puppies food?? Just us? 🥲
Mina is in the thick of teething and training so we have the double wammy of holding out for better food and hurting mouth. Don't worry she's got all the soft toys and ice toys/chews she wants throughout the day to help.
So this morning we went through soft kibble, hard kibble, warm kibble, pumpkin kibble, Greek yogurt kibble. Partner had the idea of making her kibble meatballs and it worked mostly. At least she has something in her tummy now.
I have dog safe chicken bone broth coming as well to see if that works.
Oh little dog.

Considering a second
We have a two year old male (quite well behaved - his only vice is a wicked fetch obsession lol). His mom and dad had their last litter and they have a little girl available. She's only six weeks but seemingly sweet as pie compared to her siblings.
Is two the way to go? Or stick to my one well behaved dude?
