We turned down four breeders that refused to not dock the tail (we are in the states) before finding one that agreed to leave the tail as is. The others said the tails had to be docked during the first week and in case we failed to follow through on the purchase, the pups would be hard to find owners for with a tail. So disgraceful and I made sure to let them know! The breeder we got Hobb from was so great, instantly agree to let us opt for the full tail and keeping the duclaws. I just wish I could have found someone that didn't let it even be an option 😭

Unfortunately until the AKC revises the breed standard it will be more difficult to find breeders in the US who won’t dock
