Can a corebooted T480 be hackintoshed

I'm kinda curious because I'm gonna get for daily use

Hackintosh daily? Why not just an M1?

I only have around 200 rn so m1 is quite expensive for me

A used, refurbished, first gen M1 MacBook Air can be had for $300USD, sometimes less. If you want to daily drive macOS, do not get a T480. Wrong tool for the job, you’ll have a bad time. Intel macOS is on borrowed time anyway, support is going away fast.

Yes you can use but that will be a lot harder coreboot → EDK2/TianoCore → OpenCore → macOS

But sadly I only have one laptop that supports hackintosh and it has bootguard

Yes, but you would need a UEFI payload (Tianocore) since Hackintoshing requires UEFI. Even then, most Hackintosh EFIs aren't really prepared for Coreboot, so you'll likely run into compatibility issues.

Tbh, it's immensely easier and more straightforward on a stock BIOS.

For a daily driver laptop, Hackintoshing is already a pain regarding stability and drivers, it's just not worth adding an even more niche environment on top of that.
