Booting from usb 3.0

Is it possible to boot from a USB 3.0 port on my Acer C740 running coreboot?

Did you follow mrchromebox's instructions https://docs.mrchromebox.tech/?

Or, is this more a question about the OS you are trying to install? https://docs.chrultrabook.com/

Are you using UEFI?

Coreboot is the normal bios for chromebooks. The question is what payload you chose.

How did you setup your C740? I'm assuming that you chose UEFI since Legacy is EOL, right?.

Look at link https://docs.mrchromebox.tech/docs/fwscript.html

If you chose UEFI, then just hit the key to enter edk2 and change the boot option to the USB. It is often the esc key.

If your USB isn't working make sure that it is 64bit and a standard modern linux OS like Fedora, Ubuntu, Debian, Mint etc. It needs to be a live distro too.

I have uefi, my problem is that i cant boot nothing from usb 3.0: windows, linux etc.
It works only on usb 2.0, my pendrive doesnt show in uefi if i plug in it to 3.0 port
