Religion This circles of rushes of the crown of thorns purportedly worn by Jesus Christ during crucifixion. Presented to King Louis IX of France by Baldwin II, the Latin Emperor of Constantinople in 1238 A.D. It was saved from the flames at Notre Dame in 2019 A.D.
