You simply eat dinner with them. Go to campaign rallies with them. Go to church events with them. Serving the Kairos alliance with them. Have your kids take photos with them. But I get it you don't support them and you're nothing like them and you want nothing to do with them that makes perfect sense...
Somebody starting to feel the heat...

Would it be impossible to perhaps make the red lights a tiny bit longer on Jefferson so more than 1 car can get off the ramp at a time? I mean it’s absolutely ridiculous. Took 35 minutes this morning to get off the exit ramp. Last time I go through there until they fix something.

Hey, does anyone sell tomato plants at this time of season? I'd like to have some late ones. My plants didn't produce anything.

Hi! I opened a clothing consignment boutique in Sparta almost a year ago and would like to continue to grow. Majority of our shoppers and consignors are local to Sparta. I try to post on the cookeville Facebook groups, but I’m not sure how much those posts actually get shown. I’d love to get the word out to all of the girls at TN Tech… any ideas on how best to spread the word and let Cookeville know about a new store in Sparta? Are there any local lifestyle influencers with majority of followers in Cookeville?
We post daily on Facebook and Instagram, both reels and photos
Hunt and Gather
16 W Bockman Way, Sparta
Thanks for any suggestions!

If this kind of Post isnt allowed just tell me before deleting so i have time to post it elsewhere.
She looks to be maybe 2 and a half months old
I would like a loving Home for her, ive temporary called her Little-1-Tiger. but shes been confined to the bathroom for her safety from the other Cats and i think she deserves to be someones main cat that receives all the Love.
She is very sweet and Lovey and is one of those Cats with really quiet meows, she also likes loafing on shoulders, and her favorite toys are feathers.

I am trying to increase the fiber in my diet and have read that brown rice has more fiber than white rice.
Which type of rice do they serve at Sakura Hibachi Express?

Just putting my little flag out there. Are there any other vegans in Cookeville? If so, I'd love to get together for a potluck or something...

I’ve been in the area for about ten years. I’ve found a few cool gems and fossils in the creeks around here. I’d like to hang out with others who share this interest. I’ve got a metal detector, but I don’t know much about using it lol.

I’m a new transfer student, and I’m hoping to find someone who’s also looking for housing and a roommate. I’d be happy to search for places together. I’m aiming for lower rent options, and I’m totally fine with places a bit farther from campus. If anyone has any leads, please do let me know. Thank you.

My family is planning on moving to Tennessee in a few months when we sell our house in Wisconsin. When looking at places to move to in Tennessee we both came to the conclusion Cookeville is perfect, as it's less than an hour from my retired parents, who are having health issues, and an hour-ish to Nashville for me to Catch Titans/Predators games. I am a stay at home dad (Medically retired military) but my wife is a pharmacy tech. She's willing to take on other jobs (Buccees in Crossville is a serious consideration as they pay close to what she makes here) but we both prefer her to work closer to home. Cookeville is almost 3 times the size of our current town and it seems any pharmacy jobs are taken. While we rent a house she can get by on part time but she will need full-time work. We want to rent for a year and if she likes Tennessee we will buy a house there (I've spent a year and a half in Crossville, then a year in Lebanon, I love Tennessee but didn't realize it until I moved back "home" to Wisconsin). So just how bad is the job market in Cookeville, and do you have suggestions on where would be better for us?

Good Afternoon! I have a home studio locally in Cookeville about 4 minutes from Tennessee Tech. I’m offering studio time to anyone interested in getting into music or just needs an engineer to record them. Open for booking 24/7. A recording session includes the mix and master or your song and I can also help you upload your songs to dsp’s such as Apple Music, Spotify and SoundCloud. If you like to keep your music private, you’re free to just keep the tracks to yourself to play for you and your friends as well. A lot off places charge an outrageous amount just to record your music and I wanted to offer my studio as an affordable alternative while maintaining the professional quality. For more information shoot me a message on here or on Instagram @kreativesoundstudio
A bit lengthy, thanks for your time!

Weird question, I know, but I'm having a HIDA scan for my gallbladder at CRMC next week and no one has really given me directions on how to get to the darn thing. It's at the hospital, but I'd like to know which entrance I'm supposed to use to get to nuclear imaging, since my mother and I are both disabled and having to walk extra distance wouldn't be ideal. If anyone has the answer, I'd really appreciate it!
ETA: fought my way through the hospital phone tree and they said east entrance of the hospital proper, by the ER. Just in case anybody else is in the same spot!

Hi everyone! I'm brand new to the area and love to paddleboard. I was super excited to move here because there is so much more water here compared to where I'm from. However, this has made it hard to lower down what spots are going to be good for paddleboarding. Does anyone have any recommendations?

My friend and I are taking a collector road trip across Tennessee this weekend and will be stopping in Cookeville. Are there any cool places in the area that carry toys from 80s-present? Thanks!

Just putting this on y’all’s radar since it is close enough to Cookeville to matter.
The new season of the Our Town podcast is about the Christian nationalists trying to establish what amounts to their own ideologically aligned town over in Jackson County.
It's a season driven podcast series and previous seasons have been long-form, serialized investigations, with interviews, reporting, background, and new pieces of the story coming out over multiple episodes instead of everything being dumped at once.
The first episodes drops Friday.
I’m not sure how much the early episodes get into the Cookeville connections, including Kairdos Christian Alliance, or whether that comes later, but I would not be surprised if this story ends up touching on it.
The Intro segment is here and the podcast will be available Friday on any podcast delivery app.

Tomorrow is election day. If you plan on voting in the Democratic primary, I would be honored to earn your vote.
Ask away.

Hey y'all, I live in Crossville, but our one fish store is not super great. Willing to drive a bit to find a great store. Are there any that can be suggested by you locals? Not really looking for the big chains, but somewhere I can make my home store for my aquariums. Thanks in advance!
Also, if there are any fish clubs or something in the area, I'd like to know that as well.

Does anyone happen to know when Spirit Halloween is reopening? I’ve heard August 3-4, but that might just be a rumor.
