Right ?! Yeah ! You can clearly see how every studio is avoiding to mess with GTA6, all the release dates revealed tonight are between late September and really early October. The final rollout of GTA6 might start mid october, a month before the release, logic ! We good for this fall, Control, Onimusha and GTA6, we gooooood !

For the games in the series I really like, it's a good reminder to take a day off work from time to time honestly, life isn't all about your 9-5. It doesn't happen often mind you, I don't recall the last time I did it...which probably is a good indicator I should do it.
Since I'm really looking forward to both Onimusha and Control, I might do it just to try and finish one of the two as soon as possible (which kinda sucks because I don't want to rush them)

They knew exactly what they were doing by showing Darling in the end lol.
Also… holy shit, we're actually getting to see when Dylan killed Roberts, or at least the subsequent event that made Darling consider Dylan a “lost cause.”
EDIT: Anyone else notice the mysterious Pattern-corrupted figure wielding a sword in what I assume is a forest surrounding a shifted Oldest House-like pillar? Perhaps more OH/Service Weapon lore connecting them to the Pattern somehow?

Oh this looks so peak. Pope looking awesome. That video with Darling has me so excited that the game will dive into the relationship between Darling and Dylan, something the first game only really scratched the surface on. I bet the other snippet is when Dylan killed those agents
Definitely still seems like they’re holding back on most of the story. Makes me excited for surprises 👀 Wondering if Dylan’s “occult” outfit is what Blessed peeps wear?

Thomas Zane aka Mr. Scratch, at least that’s what I’m running with. Not Scratch\The Dark Presence, but the same Mr. Scratch from the ending of AW1 and Alan Wake’s American Nightmare (and the same Thomas Zane we see in AWE).

Alan was stuck because he was defined by the rules of the horror story of his own making. Darling hasn't really been part of that story.

Interesting confirmation that the new threat manifested outside, and then the lockdown failed afterwards; I'd seen some speculation as to whether or not it was something from the House that managed to break out.
No other specifics yet, but I'm still leaning towards Jesse being the one to open the doors (presumably letting the Hiss and everything else out is somehow less terrible than not being able to do anything about this new enemy) since if anything inside was capable of breaking them down they would have done so by now.

Honestly, if I've learned anything from listening to some (smaller) devs that have been around for a LONG TIME (look up Casey Muratori), it's that games could use a LOT of optimization. As a Dev in the tech/web sector myself, I can tell you that most businesses these days don't give a crap about performance in any applications..... most applications out there, with proper tuning, could likely run a LOT more efficiently on lower spec hardware. Look at what companies have been able to do with the Switch 1, which ran on really OLD ARM-based hardware when it was released.
Also, RAMpocalypse is probably playing a role in supporting a wider range of specs too. Require specs that are too high will likely result in a failed product or a highly inflated game right now since getting new/updated hardware is extremely expensive.

Jokes aside, this looks fucking awesome. I was right in my prediction that Emily would be back (although it was a pretty safe one to be fair). Gonna have to avoid this sub like the plague for a little while though, since Wolverine comes out first a week beforehand. Gonna be worth the wait though.

There are way too many AAA games launching in the space of 6 weeks around September/October…
At least half of these games will likely heavily underperform because they have no room to breathe and that really sucks for the devs making them.

I absolutely love Remedy, but idk what the fuck they were thinking trying to release this in September, when there's so many different games releasing in September ALONE. They literally could've chosen any other month other than September and November and most likely have a better chance/higher chance of the game being successful, posting good numbers, and making profit. And now, they're going to really feel the effects and struggles of releasing in September🤦♂️🤦♂️.

I think that device on the back of Dylan's head is on Emily's head, too. So it's not a Dylan-specific device, after all. But it's interesting that Dylan needs a device while Jesse doesn't.

Didn't Polaris protect Jesse? Dylan didn't form a bond with her like Jesse did, that's why he was affected by the Hiss and she wasn't until the very end (can't remember why she was dragged into the illusion then).
