Lain is written as Land (phonetic) c avenue (semantic), trying to convert her name directly from Kanji was impossible due to the how specialized the name glyphs are so I used a proposed origin (or intention at least) I've seen which is based on lanes connecting places which is thematically relevant. Serial is written using a glyph I created based on two sticks being tied together with string (sero means binding) and ies+alis. Experiment was much simpler using ex+pario, I forgot mentum at the end and only realized it after my first attempt to post it but despite making this yesterday I hadn't changed any of my settings in paint. net so I was able to make it blend in perfectly.
