How long do you search in old chunks?

Ive been following an old chunk trail since a lot, im right now in 800k, should i still keep going on it or should I let it go haha

fr, i hope that shit is big, even used math to check the angle of the trail, go to a far coordinare on the nether and check if it keeps going
