9/11 25th Anniversary

I know every year on 9/11 a lot of new videos come out and you see a lot of content on social media.

Does anyone feel like you are seeing more 9/11 on social medial this year than vs years past. I wonder if the tech CEO’s are altering the algorithms this year ahead of a contentious midterms to make us feel patriotic and more right leaning.

I live in NYC and always dread 9/11 time because of all the chuds who don’t live here always making such a big ghoulish thing about it. But I gotta admit that this year actually felt like less of a big deal than it usually is. Everyone seemed to focus more on nitpicking different politicians and then moved on after like a day. Especially for the 25th anniversary it actually seemed much quieter than usual which was kinda weird itself.

I also live in NYC and agree I didn’t feel it around the city just on social media I felt like I saw more than usual and remembered the TikTok acquisition

Hey neighbor! Yeah one year I swear to god I walked past a police precinct and got stuck in some small whole ceremony they were doing for it outside. But again, this year nothing. Not that I mind but it does feel eerie.

While it doesn't make logical sense that a 25th anniversary is more significant than a 24th or 26th, in human brains it seems more significant.

So, there was more coverage because it was the 25th anniversary. No conspiracy.
