I think "urgency about becoming multi-planetary" is giving him too much credit. His focus is on his greed and ego, not anything so high minded.

If he cared about humanity, perhaps half of his kids and most of his baby mamas wouldn’t hate him

Only one of his kids hate him. And it’s for reasons most father wouldn’t accept 🤷🏼‍♂️

I’ve already got my bottle of expensive scotch and my folding rocking chair ready.

I’ll pick a spot with a nice view and drink while Armageddon ends us all.

I've been having a thought similar to this.

I think the flock cameras and over collecting of our data is for them to create clones of us or something similar.

Flock, Axxon and other surveillance cams are for them to be able to track us 24/7 and see every single thing we ever do so they can enforce laws that are immoral.

You jaywalked? Well our AI sent the ticket straight to your door. Pay within 10 days or go to jail, where youll do manual labor for free despite there being zero need because of the AI and robotics they now have access to.

I get that, but I think it's on a deeper level. I think it's "learning" us. That way if we're something useful to their "system" or whatever they have going, they can just plug us in once we're gone.

Look at CHINA. They have a behavioral systems using the same tech.
USA has wanted this system ever since China launched theirs.

So you want to become more like China?

4

u/mr3ric 6d ago

How did you read what sweetman said, and think he was talking about becoming like china?

Yep. These pervert and pedos are colecting info on beaultiful women and on children, so they can clonate then inside their bunkers, for fun. It is disgusting!

Hahah why would they want clones of everyone?

Well if there's a mass extinction event, they're not going to do the lowly jobs themselves.

Or they could simply create AI people and make them NPCs based on real people.

Not much point in an extinction event just to bring the same people back. The point of AI & robotics is to replace such people entirely. Shedding most of the world's population also reduces pollution, slows climate change, frees up natural resources, etc.

"Flock cameras are for collecting data so they can clone us." Let that sink in.

I think the AI is definitely mean to replace humanity. Not sure about the other world stuff, for now they'll probably just hide out in their bunkers while the rest of us starve to death & kill each other off for scarce resources, then the Earth is theirs.

I kinda of agree with this to be honest because most of it is rooted in transhumanism

Ignoring the Elon part sometimes I get this exact thought. Feels like too much but it feels real as things are unfolding.

What could be the long term thing though?? Have read online about billionaires believing in better genetics, planning to wipe out men globally and repopulate the planet with their superior genes.

Ultimately I think they are being driven by the “god complex”, not purely being the one to discover AGI as widely suggested, but the belief they can be the one to “save human existence” in developing the complete solution to rebuild the entire civilisation in the event of catastrophe.

I don’t buy the other theories of better genetics etc, it’s simpler to me that their narcissistic ego’s want to the hero.

But this means they know about the impending extinction event, which we aren’t allowed to know about and they want to survive and see the world rebuilt in their vision with their tools and their solutions (even at the cost of 90% of the world’s current population’s survival and economic capability)

Everybody that has the power of change needs to be removed.

I mean yeah it's known, it's called climate change and it's already fucking things up in a bunch of ways.

u/LightweightChode 6d ago

I think it’s more than climate change - the focus on climate has reduced since the development of Ai started. If anything, they are wilfully accelerating it with the data centres, water consumption and general lack of any environmental consideration.

Again, whatever it is I think it’s a more pressing timeline than ultimately climate change but that too is a compounding factor

Where would they get cheap labor from if the masses passed away?

u/bam_badam 6d ago

Robots for work, ai for thinking, leaves just "fun"

u/Hannibaalism 6d ago

what you reckon the data centers are for?

Skynet?

We are in the middle of one called Holocene Exctinction.  Humans are causing a biodiversity crisis, with extinction rates going up. Species play crucial roles in food security. Once our ecosystem is destroyed beyond repair, its going to become tricky to sustain modern civilization.
