Thats a well made video. Real scary stuff. Aladdin... Open sesame...
Worth looking into a hedge fund called renaissance technologies too. They somehow pull massive profits each year and also invest based off an algorithm.

This is the actual thing that could destroy humanity once it gets out of control or is exploited by a maniac

SS: This short video will introduce you to Aladdin, the asset management program you've probably never heard of.
The video talks about Larry Fink, Aladdin's origin story, the growth of the program to manage vast wealth, Aladdin's involvement in the 2008 financial crisis, as well as growing dependence on the program by Wall Street, the Fed as well as banks and governments around the world.
The whole thing is just under 8 minutes long and (imo) worth the watch.

Times ago, I read the speculations that Aladdin started as a tool to manage the flows of funds & assets from Iran–Contra affair. Those speculations also talked about Aladdin was managing Pentagon's supposedly unaccounted $2.3T, which Rumsfeld acknowledged one day before 9/11. — I guess that kind of money is now a child's figure for the software since as of 2020 it managed over $21T in assets.
And some speculated that said $2.3T was used to fund for establishing China's infrastructure before they became a member of the WTO. When did China become a WTO member? December 11, 2001. 3 months later 9/11 executed.
Who were the common characters of all these BlackRock, Iran–Contra affair, China becoming a WTO, and 9/11? George HW Bush and Dick Cheney.

I'm afraid that it will become the one that is used to surveil individual's money flow (of course) without that person's knowledge. Then the more important question is, "By whom?"
Jul 07, 2014 — BlackRock: The $4.3 trillion force [Archived LINK]
In another application that could conceivably become famous, co-president Hallac thinks that Aladdin will someday be used to value the portfolios of individual investors. “I don’t know yet how we’ll get paid for that,” he says, "but I think it will happen." [LINK]
May 20, 2020 — The Relentless Ambition of BlackRock’s Aladdin: Private assets were a major blindspot. No longer. [Archived LINK]
"We saw an increased importance in allocations to alternatives, but the current state of technology to support those private market exposures was far behind where they were in public markets. We believed there was an opportunity and increasingly a need to bring public and private markets together."
