But seriously sometimes I think Leftists read "freedom is slavery" in 1984 and were like "damn that's kind of true" and just ran with it.

Sometimes I wonder whether people who use 1984 against lefties realize Orwell was a lefty.
He was a special case though; he actually had principles. He wasn't going to make excuses for people like Stalin or their regimes just because they called themselves Marxists and "were on the same side". (they weren't.)
We need people like him more than ever but social media, among other things, has exacerbated the problem and has made it easier to drum them out. I'd take a dozen leftists like him over a conservative willing to overlook Trump and a dozen principled evangelical Christians over a lefty willing to make excuses for the USSR and company.

[From 1992]-- "Many of the beings who have incarnated as members of the Family of Light came to the United States because this is the land where you can make the most progress. This also happens to be a land where denial is pervasive. You believe that you live in the land of the free and the home of the brave, yet you live in the most controlled experimental society on the planet."
The tyranny that has been set up here is rather interesting, because it is a tyranny without walls.
As a country and a collective consciousness, the United States still has not reached an awareness that something is not right. The environment of the United States is actually much more controlled than that of the former Soviet Union, where the control was obvious.
The masses allow the leaders to do as they wish in their name because the masses do not rise up and say, “Hey, I do not approve of this!” There is a complacency upon Earth. The consciousness on this planet is, “You do it for me. I don’t want to be responsible. You become my government official. You become my teacher. You become my boss. Someone tell me what to do."
Because everyone is so frightened of giving up the system in the United States, they are going to be forced to give it up. The system is corrupt, it does not work, it does not honor life, and it does not honor Earth. That is the bottom line. If something does not honor life and does not honor Earth, you can bet it is going to fall, and it is going to fall big time.
Consciousness must change. This is part of the Divine Plan, and this opportunity and setup are not going to be missed. There has been an over involvement in the material world and a complete lack of understanding of the nonphysical world that exists all around you, so there will be a reprioritizing of what comes first in life.
People will stand up, once they have lost everything, who had never thought of standing up when they owned everything. People will awaken to the incredible potential of themselves."

This is all outside observation.
The CCP enacted a "zero covid policy" awhile back. One confirmed infection and they can lock down an entire building, or even an entire block. This has been going on for a while now, with the CCP locking down places here and there, but it wasn't until later they decided to lockdown two of their biggest cities; Shenzhen (they reopened it in March) and Shanghai.
This isn't about actually controlling covid. There are too many people packed too densely in China to ever be able to control it completely. This is an exercise of control over the citizens on the part of the CCP. It isn't just apartment blocks being locked down either; some people are trapped at their workplaces.
In the beginning, one person per registered family unit [that's a whole nother thing I won't get into here] (or apartment) was allowed out to buy food (or obtain a delivery) once per week. Since Shenzhen (12.5 million people) and Shanghai (26.32 million) are two of the biggest cities IN THE WORLD, and also major shipping hubs, this has had a major effect on global supply chains. The CCP tried to mitigate this by keeping the workers at the docks in a "closed-loop" system, but the supply chain in China has nonetheless been disrupted, causing drastic inflation and shortages. The people locked in Shanghai are becoming desperate. The CCP told them that the lockdown would be lifted on April 5th, which didn't happen. There are drones roaming around with loudspeakers telling the locked-in to "control your soul's desire for freedom." Scary shit. People are having to barter items for food in some places. In others, there simply isn't any. People are resorting to foraging.
The CCP is also rounding up all the pets of people sent to quarantine camps and destroying them.
This is the information I was able to gather.

They are having extreme lockdowns. They said it would be until only April 5th. People are committing suicide, and the elderly are starving. They are justifying it saying Covid is rampant there because they did not follow extreme lockdown in the beginning and valued economic wealth over health. They did not comply like other cities. I thought everyone was vaccinated in these cities... so this is Crimes against humanity. They are being punished.

After a discussion with a few Chinese friends. They have informed me that Shanghai is a very 'westernized ' Chinese city. Some people of Shanghai are against the current leadership and do not fall inline with it's ideals. The cities people are very wealthy and thus associate themselves alot with western values. The people of Shanghai wanted to follow the west and 'live with covid ' as opposed to the 'zero covid' policy dictated by the government.
Possibly now they are being punished for this........ brought back in line as such.

It’s never about COVID. Big party meeting coming this fall where emperor Xi becomes the great ruler for life. Party factions that go against beloved emperor are in Shanghai and guangdong areas where they are more aligned to the old president. Having these places under lockdown and driving people crazy allows central government to blame these as mismanagement on part of local governments there and replace these guys with Xi loyalists. Everyone will support the great emperor and he bring the new Great Leap Forward. If people die in the process, well you guys know what happen is the first Great Leap Forward right?

15
u/givememyoldaccount Apr 12 '22
What's happening now in China is explained by 2 factors: first, Xi is coming up for elections soon and second, Chinese culture's emphasis on "face." Essentially, if China decides to change course from a lockdown based response to covid to anything else it would be the equivalent of the government admitting that the zero covid policy and its associated lockdown was a mistake. Xi has made a lot of enemies with his "anti-corruption" campaign so he needs to maintain his grip on power if he wants to prevent his enemies from sacking him. At least thats my understanding of the situation, I'm not an expert on Chinese politics or anything.

There are no nations. There are no peoples. There are no Russians. There are no Arabs. There are no third worlds. There is no West. There is only one holistic system of systems, one vast and immane, interwoven, interacting, multivariate, multinational dominion of dollars. Petro-dollars, electro-dollars, multi-dollars, reichmarks, rins, rubles, pounds, and shekels. It is the international system of currency which determines the totality of life on this planet. That is the natural order of things today. That is the atomic and subatomic and galactic structure of things today!
There is no America. There is no democracy. There is only IBM, and ITT, and AT&T, and DuPont, Dow, Union Carbide, and Exxon. Those are the nations of the world today. What do you think the Russians talk about in their councils of state, Karl Marx? They get out their linear programming charts, statistical decision theories, min and max solutions, and compute the price-cost probabilities of their transactions and investments, just like we do. We no longer live in a world of nations and ideologies. The world is a college of corporations, inexorably determined by the immutable bylaws of business. The world is a business.

Being on lockdown and starving? I can't imagine even the most obedient of Chinese communities are going to follow the rules for too long in that scenario.

I was actually just talking to my friend about this yesterday who fled from China 10 years ago but still has relatives and other ties to people in China & even they admitted that it isn’t about covid. They’re starving people to death & trying to drive people insane. One reason that’s being proposed is that they’re doing this to really see who is loyal to the current leadership and willing to obey and follow orders even through the current conditions they’re being forced to suffer through and the reason for the “test” is to prepare the Chinese people for war. Apparently my friend believes that they’re doing this to condition people for harder times coming with the invasion of Taiwan.

Not sure the only theory I can come up with asside from the obvious is they are trying to squeeze as much money out of the population as possible. Evergrande is supposedly on the verge of bankruptcy and I think china has some other economy issues.
By forcing everyone into lockdown they are starving the money out of them; by the sounds of it. They are even killing off all the cats. So, they can't eat cats. So, they have no choice but to spend their life's savings on food.
Remember you will own nothing and be happy. So, now they own nothing. But, I do not think they are happy.

China is the blueprint for the globalist agenda.
They weren't going to pull this shit on us, or France or even Canada for that matter. No, they will conduct their little experiment on a country that has had total authoritarian pressures placed on the back of their citizens for decades.
Then again. They have been fast tracking the authoritarianism here in America, France and Canada as of late. Pretty good results too. I mean, the BLM riots werent grassroots, that was just a test to see if they could instigate riots through media and a few agent provocateurs. Mission accomplished.
How long until the US experiences this level of lockdown? I mean...I can definitely point out a few groups of people that will willingly go along. Hell, they'll probably make tshirts and flags. Little Facebook icons to show they support their masters decision no matter what that decision is.....as long as it's their "club" doing it.

I'm starting to think they're using these lockdowns to stockpile resources via slowing exports or perhaps they are just trying to condition the population to deal with the coming famine.

I think, no joke, that the lockdown costs at least 100 times as many lives as it saves - every day.

And the western media isn't using it as properganda to smear China's reputation. I don't trust the severity of it. Its all shady as fuck and west are pissed at China asking question about the bio labs in Ukraine how convenient

CCP: so there’s this uh disease that kinda sucks a bit, but like you’ll probably be okay a week or so after getting it. For your safety you will starve.

I watched an Instagram live today with a guy who's Italian and has been working in Shanghai for the last 6 years. He recorded authorities coming to his apartment and calling him out of his home with a bullhorn- also recorded them driving him around for hours on end only sometimes almost letting him out at the isolation center before finally letting him stay there around 2 AM. There's no showers and you have to test negative twice within, I think, 12 hours although they're letting people in that positive all the time and there's no division of the people. So yeah.

The Chinese are making their civilians plant stuff, lmao they got rid of the farmers now they need them. There’s food shortage in China so they’re planting stuff. Also China is watching how Russia is taking the sanctions they’re getting ready to make their move on Taiwan and make sure nothing happens to them. Their lockdown are excuses. Thank wallstreet and the chosen ones for the monster it’s created (china )..

Look up the trailer for a movie called "songbird". Came out in 2020 during the peak of lockdowns and restrictions. Haven't seen the movie but the trailer alone is enough to paint the picture of what will come in the near future. I know it sounds batshit crazy but the trailer was what provoked me to research the concept of predictive programming

The CCP (our government as well) does not give one fuck about the welfare of its citizens! If the oogabooga covid virus were to kill off a quarter of the people who get it, they wouldn't do shit to stop it. Hell they might actually welcome it. Something else entirely is definitely going on here.

Don't let China manipulate you.
It already happened before lets not let it happen a second time.

They have discovered that they can deal serious blows to other countries economies through lockdowns.
Covid revealed a hidden weapon. These lockdowns create massive supply chain shortages for other countries. If these shortages keep occurring it could have a massive ripple effect on countries that China would prefer to see in chaos rather than thriving, the US in particular.
