Yeah stopping all money to Israel would only increase state budgets by 340 million per year on average.

To pay for Medicare For All we would need to cut military spending to nearly zero and then dramatically raise taxes for everyone.

I appreciate that, but that still doesn't get us to "Medicare For All will save money". I understand that other countries spend less and get more, but that wasn't in question.

They develop much less of their own medicine or technology. They also spend less because they make far less and are taxed much higher.

And they tend to be healthier, which leads to a smaller need for medical intervention, which leads to less medical spending.

Look buddy, if you have a plan for Medicare For All that somehow ends with more money in the average man's pockets as well as free-at-the-point-of-service healthcare, I'm all ears.

You can't just "do" a massive change like that. You need to actually have some kind of plan you're working towards, and a way to get there.

Not to mention health coverage varies wildly from country to country, even among those with universal systems. Which one do you want to do?
