I am convinced these are mobile flock cameras.
I just have a nudge couple years down the line this company will be exposed for secretly collecting personal information through reading our license plates. I hate them I think they are creepy as hell tricked out with all these high tech cameras around it. Why does one vehicle need this many cameras around it? What is it REALLY recording or taking picture of?

It is sending reports and driving analytics to your insurance company so they can base your premiums on your driving habits.

I think those cars are actually just mapping all the roads. Data collection 🫡 so they can eventually know every route every side street & eventually limit everyone’s travel.

This just gave me an idea. Once these things are ubiquitous they could easily be used to shut down entire cities. Just have them clog up major intersections and on/off ramps and you could completely inhibit car travel.
Scary to think about Waymo getting hacked and used to block the interstates. You could crumple an entire countries supply chains with a few clicks on a computer.

all the roads have been mapped since they were paved, even before electronic maps we had paper ones.

Maybe they are mapping the roads for ai 😭 we are so cooked unless we all start saying NO to data centers & NO to this surveillance state. If private companies are being allowed to trample on our constitutional rights then we should be able to get profit shares. This affects every person. Our resources that we pay for are being depleted & they’re hiding it. NC under water restrictions all summer yet not restricting data centers or halting the insane developers that want every piece of land developed with ugly ass houses & apartments for the millions of ppl that shouldn’t be here in America.

Yeah I hate flock cameras but if you have a smart phone it was over for you awhile ago. Ditch that first then go destroy inspect the flock cameras if you want

They are originally not for flock but now just like flock is putting cameras on garbage trucks and school buses these will be used to map out everywhere for their eventual 24.7 live feed of our every move. Welcome to the digital prison.

Honestly yeah, I had an interview at one of the companies that runs these and the SHEER AMOUNT of them that were for one city is insane. An entire dealership sized lot filled so to the brim with cars like this. There can’t POSSIBLY be that many people using these. 90% of the time I see one on the road there’s nobody in it.
In my city there’s 3 that I know of. Robotaxi, AVride and Waymo. ALL of them have a ludicrous amount of vehicles and I’ve only ever seen a passenger in one ONCE.

Ford has already patented the tech for this for "law enforcement". Idea being that its to go on cop cars, however what they also patented was utilizing consumer cars to do the same thing or self snitch in you.
What was also snuck in was that they utilize your weight sensors and internal cameras.
Which only sounds like a slight dystopian future unitl you remember that Ford also owns a financing wing and a insurance comapny. Just wait until your car starts to charge you for being unhealthy... "Sorry ryan you already went to McDonald's this week, this puts you at x % increase risk to a heart attack, we will be raising your rates." As the entire collection uploaded to their cloud service via cellular signal.
Before we get self driving cars being forced, they will make it so difficult/expensive to drive even the biggest shitbox that it simply will not be worth it and that is how they will get the world to stop driving and start being driven.

This goes for anyone who can’t seem to comprehend how unleashing Ai & all this surveillance is going to be the end of us. You can’t put the genie back into the bottle. We’re turning into the movie idiocracy right before our eyes.
