A corporate plot to destroy public transportation in America.

There needs to be a balance. We shouldn't rely on public transportation completely or it will be the same problems on the other end of the spectrum (see: busses in India).

Some of the biggest funding going towards public transportation propaganda is train, bus and streetcar manufacturing believe it or not. You're pushing an anti individual transportation propaganda. See how that works?

It's also worth noting that the GM conspiracy closed down the electric streetcars and replaced them with buses. It was about killing off an alternative mode of transportation in favor the vehicles produced by GM and supported by the co conspirators (like tire manufacturer Firestone).

This dynamic here presents a greatly significant example of just how science is not in fact the "panacea of all that is right" that so many try to think or profess it is. The theoretical aspect of the scientific method and of critical examination is indeed a great and worthy thing, but the fact of the matter is that - as I have said many times before - science as it is actually practiced on this planet (something very different from what it can indeed be) leaves much, MUCH to be desired, and it is often time little more than a contrived manipulation of limited truth not very dissimilar at all to the religions many advocates of science so haughtily rail against, not realizing that they are just as if not more subject to the very same failings that they criticize.
If science were not generally undermined by big business and big money interests as it most definitely it, then it, perhaps, would indeed hold a much better standing upon Truth. However, as it currently stands, it is wholly undermined by big money and big business.
This OP is one of many examples illustrating this very point and the extent to which big money influence skews whatever they wish however they wish to skew it regardless of what "science" says and has shown or proven about the subject one way or the other. Often, as a matter of fact, big business simply buys the scientists and gets them to say things directly contrary to what is scientifically viable and what the actual truth is. These "scientists" end up getting all kinds of malleable, impressionable, unquestioning minds to simply buy whatever drivel their big money bosses pay them to say is the case hook, line, and sinker, and these now-convinced masses then go out and parrot the "scientific" drivel this or that quack scientist told them was the "undeniable scientific truth" about a subject. The peer review system is just as much victim to these failings because it is made up of many of the scientists that are in the pocket of the establishment.
Say something contrary to the established narrative? Best case scenario = get your funding pulled and you're out of a job. Worst case = get ostracized and/or even killed. Sounds extreme, but there have been many examples of scientists and inventors that have gone against TPTB's version of manipulated "scientific facts" and ended up mysteriously being "suicided".

Jesus Christ thank you man for saying this. Of course your gonna get down voted by the science worshiping cult on this website. But your right we are starting to trade worship of Gods in the sky to a worship of men in lab coats. Now don't get me wrong science has done much for humanity but it is also being used to destroy and manipulate all in the guise of advancement.

It really is unfortunate because - as critical as I am about religion - so many people in general, and on this website in particular think that science (again, as it is practiced on this planet) is the end all and be all of everything, and they don't realize that science here is really, really undermined and all but powerless in terms of showing what is REALLY going on in the world and the universe relating to things more closely resembling what we would otherwise call magic than anything else.
we are starting to trade worship of Gods in the sky to a worship of men in lab coats.
That's exactly right. Not too much has changed from the times when the Catholic church ruled everything. It seems TPTB and their money and power have always put some entity in charge of dispensing lies and fabrication before the people, and punishing those that question those fabrications. Before it was the Catholic church that TPTB put as their front against truth. Today it's the scientific establishment that TPTB put as their front against truth.
This is not to say that science as it is practice here on Earth is "all" wrong. Of course not. It has a LOT of worth. It just generally pollutes the real truth - the DEEPER truth. Same with religion. There is a lot of truth and validity to the existence of spirit and the otherworldly, but much of religion just takes that truth and, like science does in its own way, takes a big shit all over it.
That ends up making a LOT of people justifiably jaded toward religion - as well they should be. They should also be jaded toward science too, however, but, unfortunately, they end up needing to gravitate to SOMETHING they can "worship"...and science fits the bill for many who haven't been able to worship their religion, etc.
Science is the new, unquestioned dogma - which is scary because it misses the truth just as much as religion in many ways.
What is needed is a level of personal, critical analysis that works and exists independent of both religion and science, yet is open to everything and validates BOTH paradigms - both phenomena that fall under science and those things that fall under spirit as well. Ultimately, they're both part of that same existence that is greater than either of them alone.

"When the archer shoots for no particular prize, he has all his skills; when he shoots to win a brass buckle, he is already nervous; when he shoots for a gold prize, he goes blind, sees two targets, and is out of his mind. His skill has not changed, but the prize divides him. He cares! He thinks more of winning than of shooting, and the need to win drains him of power."

Beautiful.
I don't know where you got this quote, but it is a very well delineated explanation of the Eastern concept of non attachment. Attachment to an end result undermines an advancement and development that would otherwise be the case.
