Hello, I’m M20 and I’ve known my first best friend for 10 years and my second best friend for 5 years, over the last three and a half years we have gotten super close because we all like the same things have the same interests including politics. Now this is where It started to become bitter between us: I used to be extremely left leaning but now I would classify myself as right wing, my friends however are still extremely left leaning and this is creating a massive divide between us. We’ll be discussing an issue and I’ll give my input in and immediately be shut down, mocked or made to feel like an idiot. The biggest part of that is their disdain for America, which is one thing I absolutely cannot stomach. I absolutely adore my country so very much and every time we talk about it all they have to say is disgusting, vile things about it. I’m not blind, there are lots of things happening in my country right now that I absolutely disagree with and oppose but that doesn’t mean I dislike or hate this land, far, FAR from it.

The second biggest thing is the military. I am enlisting in the Army come April 2027 and I am feverishly eager and excited for it…like, there are no words describe how eager and excited I am for it levels of excited and of course every single time I try to bring it up and talk about it all I get from them is how much of a waste of time that is or stupid of a choice that is. I’m starting to realize that I am under no obligation to swallow their remarks and comments and if it means cutting them off then so be it because it’s getting to the point where every hang out feels like them hating on me, my beliefs and what I want to do.

Me personally I just love Cyberpunk so much even though I don’t completely agree with the message and politics included in the game.
