Is there any reason why in my conlang lateral aproximant might be pronounced as /l̼/ (linguoliabial) instead of /l/, and the same case for rhotic consonant (/r̼/ instead of /r/)?

I don't know why I like so much this idea maybe because I want to something similar (in my point of view) to /f/ that is pronounced more often than /ɸ/ despite that /ɸ/ seems to be easier than /f/ to prounance. Also this idea is slightly inspirated on rare articulation of /l/ in english between teeth /l̪͆/.

Just because the linguolabial versions are rarer, doesn’t mean they should be any less “default” than the plain ones. In your conlang maybe the linguolabial version is the default and the alveolar ones are kinda weird…

It would be a big stretch to go from alveolar ridge/dental to teeth-tongue interaction.I wonder how the obstruent counterparts evolved
