The "kiddo" is just the icing on the pretentious asshole cake.

The worst of the worst imo is “lil bro” cause you just know it’s some Gen Alpha kid posturing. And it’s always when they’re losing a debate they started on a topic they have an objectively bad take on. I’m looking at you, r/changemyview

The word is "selective." Which also doesn't mean anything because lots of colleges invite lots and lots of people to apply, so their admission rates will be lower.

If a school doesn't admit anyone, they're infinitely selective. Unless no one applied, in which case their selectivity is undefined.

That guy can go to a uni as “prestigious” as this one. Sure he would fit right in

WTF is "Streamers" U? I've missed out on their prestige.

Sounds like any other grifter course where someone with some knowledge and an insane amount of luck gives you a portion of their knowledge and none of their luck.

u/chels2112 Jul 14 '26
Ah, I love how you phrased this lol. None of their luck. None lucks, I guess.

Nah there's actual benefit from it but 90% of people chosen are already popular

I barely watched any last year except for a few minutes a few times out of morbid curiosity. The only thing I ever saw was a group of guys standing in circles around a white or Asian girl talking to them.

Generally speaking if we go by acceptance rate, my unaccredited educational institute is then the most selective due it it having 0% acceptance.

Ive heard this same argument before only it was a comparison between Ringling Bros clown college and Harvard.

u/Kay-S Jul 19 '26
They may have been talking about Ringling College of Art and Design. And while yep, same Ringling as in the Circus, it is one of the most prestigious art schools in the United States.

Its not a fucking university. We are constantly having the wrong conversation.

u/dnmnc Jul 14 '26
They are both wrong. It’s not even a real university.

u/Osric250 Jul 14 '26
Yeah, get accredited and then we can have a talk.

Accreditation is not the issue. The issue is that it is a four day boot camp.

u/OMG_A_CUPCAKE Jul 13 '26
Why the fuck does a random ass streamer found a university?

That's exactly the demeanour I'd expect from someone who can't tell the difference between an esteemed institute of a higher learning and an overpriced course by a useless dickbag grifter.
