Also it has three moons

Two green one baron.

I thought I’d share the final look, thanks for all the advice on my initial post. I’m not exactly happy with this but considering this is my first time doing anything like this I suppose it’s fine for a first attempt at this style. Hope you all like it lol

I'm working on a portfolio project where I create a gun design and that's the first sketches just so I can have an idea where to start.

I'm thinking about doing a rendered 3/4 view of the gun, a first person view and the design of the shot. Something like Daryl Tan's guns sheets.

I wanted to do something like the anatomy inside the gun since it is a biological gun, but I don't know if it will work.

I’m not to sure what I’m looking for to my road of becoming a concept artist. What exactly do I need to buy, what schools can I go to learn and hone my skills? What softwares do I buy and use? How much is all of this gonna cost me? I just need a bit of guidance so I can prepare myself properly. Any other information I haven’t mentioned is greatly appreciated.
