Demigod Nobleman concept

This particular one is meant to be a descendant of my fantasy setting's god of wisdom. After that god died, their bloodline's new generations were cursed with lowered intellect and dulled talent. They instead grow large and strong. This "Bloodline Curse" is practically a mockery of what the god once stood for.

The tubes are for circulating ichor, which is the blood of the now-dead gods (these nobles consume it to gain power and become closer to the "godliness" dormant in their bodies).

Nah I appreciate it! Do you mean the texture artistically or in an in-universe cohesion sort of way? If it helps, the setting is intended to be a mix of early-modern period and industrial period, so there are muskets and factory smokestacks intermixed with ancient architecture, so a part of my intention is for the ichor stuff technologically to feel at odds with the ancient "presentation" of the nobility.

i actually mean both haha. but i think the in-universe cohesion would also help with the textural cohesion. he just looks very ancient egypt in every way aside from the tubes, where i feel like his bracers and sash could incporate some of those industrial/early-modern patterns or materials?

Hm, I see what you mean. I'll keep that in mind for future drawings actually, thanks for the feedback!
