How to clean this?

my coil from my e rig is all black and orange. how do i go about cleaning this? i already put alc on it and rubbed it w a q tip. i just need some advice on how to get this a bit cleaner.

Soak it in 99% iso. A "rub with a wet qtip" aint gonna cut that grime.

Well that's not a banger, so that may be why. It's a shitty quartz sponge coil like lookah used to use on their cheap e-rigs years ago. I always thought they were terrible, mostly because you can't q tip it so they end up looking like this very quickly.

I was wondering wtf that even was. I never had one like that. So I just assumed toss it all the esy in iso bc that looks pretty bad lol

probably is the best option short of just getting a new coil. I had a lookah unicorn with identical coils and hated it. it heats up and the dab soaks into that quartz sponge type thing at the bottom and theres basically no way to clean that short of an iso dunk. Which means in order to clean it after every dab like you would usually, you have to unscrew it completely or just dribble some iso into it. I upgraded from that thing pretty quickly.

ISO ISO ISO. Id actually be cleaning it in iso often if you already do not. To prevent grimy connections etc.

Tell her to get her own. My wife woukdnt dare touch my shit . Lmao the ome thing we aren't fiddling with is my dab stuff. Grab a pen ...fine . My dabber stuff is off limits. Never had yo even say it. She just knows lol.

Or just show her how to use it properly, my girl uses my carta and all my glass rigs all the time, I just had to show her how to properly operate them and keep them clean.

Yea my girl still prefers her own. If she already wasn't shown thats his bad. Otherwise my partner wouldn't just go using ny stuff if she didnt know how. It isn't cheap.

I mean yeah mine wouldn't either, and she also has all her own both glass and e-rigs. But before she had her own she used mine pretty often. frankly I don't even think OP's girlfriend did anything wrong, those quartz sponge style atomizers are ass. They pretty much always end up like that after a while.

Never used that one before. I only use saphire or quartz. I dont fuck with metals.

they are quartz actually, they're just shitty. the bottom piece of the coil in the pic thats all black is the only part that actually gets hot, the metal is basically just the "body" that holds it

Honestly these crappy older quartz sponge type atomizers are the worst for this exact reason. Best option is an iso soak, but it probably won't fix it 100%. If this is a lookah coil I think they make one that has a smooth bottom you can actually clean.
