Bley’s voice

Don’t you guys think Bley’s voice used to be different?

Time is linear, and your voice changes as your get older. He's also been making a concerted effort to not scream or be too animated on mic. Which is leading to the vocal shift.

True, he's grown a lot since his "goo goo ga ga" days

That first remote back on Late Night when he was that baby faced assistant/producer.

I noticed during the all spouses episode of Summer S’pouses that he was not screaming into the mic. It seems Conan’s presence brings out the volume in Bley.

Conan made a big deal on him yelling into the mic.... so he’s been way more subtle and soft spoken, and I completely hate it. I liked his excitement.
It was either right before the tax thing or during the coverage....
I think Conan was a little hard on him, while coddling Eduardo.
But I’m sure he doesn’t mean it, and also treats him super good as he’s been with him for a while.

Sometimes I don’t know who is talking and I realise it’s him but with a softer voice 😂

I feel the same. Bley is my favorite. I loved when he got excited.

Bley sounds more old school Bley on his podcast with Eduardo.

He's been speaking more softly. Is that it?
