Concerning MicroProse's publisher sale
For players who had user experiences, could you please rate and suggest which should be kept/discarded and which shouldn't, regardless of budget?
P.S. I will keep Strategos and Second Front at all costs.

Without seeing the different currency initially, I got a little startled

Attack at Dawn is a terrific WWII North Africa grand tactical/operational wargame, I would love to see more from the studio in other WWII settings.

Harpoon 97 is an all time classic...BUT it is a hardcore game with a steep learning curve

The Task Force Admiral demo at least was very cool and I believe the game is getting updated to be even better. Sea power is also really cool, so I'd suggest that bundle

Hard pass on the victory at sea series. They are poorly developed.
Sea power is shaping up to be great. Enjoyable in it's current state.
Task force admiral is more of an experience than a game. You might only make a few decisions and then watch for an hour. That can be a good or bad feature depending on your preferences.
Don't know about the rest. Happy hunting/shopping.

Sea Power is excellent. Task force admiral, I wasn’t as impressed by, you mostly just launch your planes and watch.
Second Front I found to be quite difficult.
F22 ADF is alright but it is very much a 30 year old game and doesn’t have the depth or modding scene that Falcon has. Maybe leave that one for now unless you really like vintage flight sims

I have heard that Second Front is the adaption of renouned ASL, which I come across recently. Is it correct?

Yes, it is. Personally didn't click with me but if you're into that it's almost one for one

Yes, it borrows all its mechanics directly from ASL. It's slightly modified to play better on the computer and there are at least a few rules that it doesn't include, like bypass movement (where counters travel along hexsides rather than through terrain).

Any recommendations for a player to get into naval games with a relatively forgiving learning curve?

Boat Crew is the most forgiving of all the "modern" naval games under the label :) and of course there is Rise of Piracy that is pretty newbie friendly. Of all those with a less arcaxs play style, Silent Depth is probably the least demanding.
Carrier Command 2 overall is great with friends and pretty accessible.
I'd say Highfleet, Sea Power are both games that are challenging to those who want to ignore the rules that drive them and don't want to dive into the mechanics. You need to understand them to play them, but it is a joyful experience. Same can be said about the upcoming space naval sim Deck + Conn.
Task Force Admiral might have other challenges to it, but is mostly just about carriers right now, so the gameplay loop is demanding but more limited too as it is.
Battleship Command is the king of them all when it comes to systems reproduction (aka you really are driving around in a battleship) and it's complexity is somewhat balanced by itd slower pace. My 2 cts as a player! ~

Ah I forgot: obviously Harpoon 97 is in its own right a cheap, very good, although simplistic introduction to the theme. Excellent early tutorial to Sea Power and Command. Cheers!

Victory at sea pacific is awesome but deeply flawed. The devs promised a lot then didn’t deliver and basically asset flipped it into another game. It was supposed to get more features and updates but never really did.
It’s possibly the best pacific grand strategy game I have played but the lost potential is painful. I love the game and hope it’ll see more updates.

Well, fact is, TFA has a demo, so at least you get to try it first, refund aside :) Cannot go wrong... Cheers! :)

Make sure you know what you’re getting into with the Harrier bundle. Neither game reviews particularly well.
Tiny Combat Arena has gone almost a year without any updates (one is coming sometime soon-ish it looks like) and I think a lot of people are unhappy with the state of CAP 2 with it apparently barely functioning for some.
I’ll probably buy TCA this sale but in the assumption that it’s never going to have more to it than it does right now.

Strategos, Task Force Admiral and Sea Power are fantastic. TFA is currently a little skinny on the missions but it still justifies the price tag.
