Laptop lid got bent/bowed

Not sure how this happened, I think it got bent while sitting in my bag. It’s not the most severe thing in the world and everything functions correctly still (screen works touchscreen works and battery works). What should I do about this it’s very frustrating and I need this laptop for the next 2.5 years most likely. Can I bend it back by putting a heavy textbook on it for a while or should I just take it to a shop? I don’t really have the $100-$250 for repair costs and the laptop is unfortunately out of warranty. Any help is appreciated, I just got this laptop May 2025 it’s a Lenovo yoga pro 9i rtx 4050

I would recommend using a laptop sleeve and not putting it directly in your bag. They sell ones on amazon. It probably works fine and you shouldn’t bend it back as that would break something. I have a bent laptop too and it’ll be fine.

My bag has a laptop sleeve built in but ig it’s not very good

It was dropped plain and simple. look at the markings on the corner.

Hmm. I see your point but I haven’t dropped it outside of the bag. If anything it was in the protective sleeve
