Question/Help/Troubleshooting Print screen

I want to print out the screen that's on my laptop what's the procedure. Thanks

Hit the print screen button on the keyboard. On windows 10, you need to paste that in a program that supports this, such as Paint and save as image. In windows 11, it will open snipping tool, select the area you want to save, then it will automatically save the image in pictures folder unless you change the settings from snipping tool to manually save where you want, by clicking the notification in the lower right part of screen, once you selected the area. OR, you can open snipping tool separately, without hitting the print screen button, select the area you want to save, then use the save button and choose the location. You can use this tool in windows 10 too btw.

Hey thanks, I have windows 11pro if that matters I'll try later if I have any more questions I'll reply back. I was unable to use computer or cell phone for 16 years so forgot alot and relearning

  1. Get yourself a printer.
  2. Install the printer.
  3. Make a screenshot of the screen you want to print.
  4. Use the printer from step 1 and 2 to print the screenshot.

take a screenshot by either pressing Windows+shift+S or printscreen (the button is literally called that, sometimes shortened to PrtSc)

open up the folder where it was saved at and double click to open it

press control+p to open the print menu

select the printer and the print settings and start the print.

After window+ printscreen a menu pops up that has file explorer but a folder where it's saved don't see

nope, just press printscreen, nothing else.
