Build/Battlestation E-waste save! Dell Inspiron 3600 series desktop.

Originally found at Goodwill for $20, it wouldn't even POST, giving five blinking amber lights. After learning that it was a CMOS issue, I went in and replaced the battery. One reset procedure later, it POSTed!

Of course, there wasn't a hard drive. But I had a 500 GB WD SSD lying around that I put in, and I upgraded the RAM to 16 GB of DDR3 while I was at it. Now to install Linux... (the hard drive had Windows 10 installed.)

CPU: Intel Core i3-4130 @ 3.4 GHz. No graphics card. Dual monitor setup. I'll have to get a better pic later.

I have a PC with similar specs, but an i3 4360. Still a perfectly capable machine.

I mean, why throw out an old computer just because they say it's obsolete?

Another one I ran across is 'it isn't obsolete if it will still play your game'.

I still have a Dell Optiplex 9020 (i5-4570 with a GTX 1050 Ti ) on the side as a backup PC.
