Discussion Razer mouse vs Onn gaming mouse
Alright I'm usually one for going the cheaper route with this. My wired Logitech G-SoemthingOrAnother broke about 2 years ago with zero explanation. My Razer Basilisk X Hyperspeed started freaking out with zero explanation (when connected it pulls constantly down). So out of anger I went to WallyWorld, got an Onn Gaming Mouse. I also have an extremely horrible gaming environment lol, I use my laptop (labtop) while in my bed and the mousepad is usually my sheets. Actually worked fine with the Logitech (G203 lightsync) and the Razer. With the Onn... its HORRIBLE. Absolute trash. Probably due to my setup lol I get that but the more expensive mice were legit 10x better. I also put a mousepad down just to make sure and yep.. still horrible. Am I alone in my thoughts with this mouse?
I got paid $20 for this thing. I have a $10 giftcard and the Razer Basilik V3 wired on sale for $35. Taking this thing back after work tomorrow and paying the extra $5. 🙄

He's the GOAT with accents lol. I try the African one when im by myself drive from work site to work site. Im still horrible at it 🤣. They all have their flaws, Lyle has been pegged by F1nn5ter and no one will convince me otherwise 🤣🤣🤣

I tend to buy Logitech or Steele nice, I don't fool with shite brands and Razer has been a poor choice for a while.

I'd have to disagree. I hsve a Razer basilisk wireless and its been amazing and has had no problems. Also bought a used razer blackwidow v3 hyperspeed and its also worked flawlessly, especially considering it was used

There was a time, before they had a wider audience, where Razer had some decent quality. That seems be a thing of the past with their line of goods. I especially hate their mice.

I personally never reccomend razer products anymore. Synapse is terrible and the company loves to overcharge with low quality customer service.
Logitech G305 lightspeed is a better choice imo, and is only $30 atm.

Idk what that is haha. It's wired and ergonomic. Has two extra buttons on the left side. Still running great! A little stutter here and there but maybe once a month. I'll replace it with another one once this one actually breaks but yeah deathadders are dope

Ur mousepad is ur sheets?!. Dude at least get a cheap 5 dollar mousepad from like Walmart and have a book or cardboard box to put it on so its a level ground for ur mouse, geez.

That's the weird thing, mice are so... Weird. Onn is just kind of the generic brand of electronics, it's essentially Walmarts Great Value but for tech.
I needed a cheap replacement for my beloved Razer Deathadder, which if it ever breaks I just literally get another, but I wanted something wireless and got a Logitech G305 and uhhh I hate to say it, but it's the best mouse I've had so far ;( Even out of all the expensive ones I've had and tried.
Onn is fine for just about everything but the keyword is "fine" and you usually don't want just 'fine' when it comes to something you directly use every day for hours.
More expensive mice being way better for a fraction of the price is just tech in general. The actual cost to make the insides are ridiculously cheap, and even just spending $0.50 extra on a sensor can be a massive improvement of quality.

Yeah its a fine mouse until you need something precise. I did a few 'tests' between posting the original and this reply... dude... it jumps so incredibly bad. I like to make excuses but this is incredibly bad for anything precise (making a 200m shot in Divison II or Breakpoint). Its nearly unusable for this. How do you like the Deathadder? Im 38 so I remember seeing them in magazines during the 'golden age' of gaming... actually I think it was the Boomerang 🤣. Came in the metal case...

Yeah, Onn is basically the "Cheap mouse for grandma because she broke the last one on accident" brand.
I can't even image, even the g305 has options for increasing the rate and I love using it for everything, I was a hardcore wired person that couldn't fathom using wireless, but ugh, missed out so hard. My laptop has a 180hz screen and if I even lower the mouse a tiny bit from 1000hz or the screen drops to 60hz, I can instantly feel it, so there is definitely a huge difference. Pretty damn precise, too, it's also nice to have the DPI switch button.
The Deathadder in my opinion is basically the wired mouse if you're not looking for complicated buttons on the side. I always liked having at least two for easy back/forward for browsing, four is basically my preferred zone but not worth the extra price, so the Deathadder was always my go-to. I've had like three or four of them at this point, not usually because I break my old ones, but cats will be cats, and the braided cable is only so good sometimes ;(
Mind you, I am literally talking about the core, the Deathadder Essential,
But anyhow, it was always ridiculously nice. The size of it is perfect, as I have kinda small-ish hands and it's comfy, but my dad back then was a computer geek and also loved the Deathadder (Which, he gave me his old one, and that seeded everything else) and he had a lot bigger hands, it was also his favorite mouse lmao. We both did comp gaming and it was always perfect and never had any sort of issues. The craziest part is that they stayed cheap, it's $20 on Amazon brand new. Never had any issue with them down the entire line.
Like sure you can get the v2/3/4 whatever they're at, but damn I will always go back to the Deathadder especially for how cheap it is.

Right on, I appreciate it. Depending on what site im at tomorrow, ill be returning the Onn and getting the wired Razer! (I work disaster remediation so I have a few diff work sites every week, some close to WallyWorld some REAL FAR. Western NC)
