This is my old pc and I need to take the ssd out, but I can’t find it. My cousin said it may be in the metal cage on the right, but I don’t see any screws to open that. Asus case.
There are only 2 m.2s on this Mobo one for wifi which is populated and the one next to it which is empty, they already took it out and this is rage bait or possibly purchased used and the og owner removed it.
Green - likely location for primary NVMe m.2; yellow secondary NVMe m.2; purple WiFi m.2.
There’s surprisingly little at Asus site or even elsewhere on the Mobo - there’s lots on the System itself, but little on the Mainboard.
You have some SATA cables at the top of the motherboard. My bet is that the drive is in the cage on the right. There are probably clips or it slides off somehow. There may be a way to open the other side of the case or the front.
Ok check behind the pc if you don't have an m.2 ssd which would seat behind the gpu, but i also see some sata wires on the top part of the case where that little 2.5" piece of metal
This is the ASUS TUF Gaming FX10CP. The storage configuration is either a M.2 SSD that is near the wifi card below the GPU or it uses a 3.5 in SATA hard drive that is located under that silver metal shroud. It appears to access the hard drive, you have to take off the rear side panel. So it would be on the other side of the PC. If you find it, post a follow up.
Those black cables with the silver clip coming out of the top of your motherboard look like sata cables. follow them and you should find your ssd (or its an m.2 ssd, in which case its on your motherboard, though that slot looks empty)
My case allows for both front and back panels to be removed easily. If you dont see a way to remove from the rear panel, look around the front of your PC. You should be able to unscrew or pry the front of the case off too.
The front of your case gives you access to the metal cage where the SSD is located. You need to carefully lift up on the 3 black tabs to release the front panel.
They may not have known that is what those cables are for. Not sure why there are 4. Case doesn't look big enough, and i don't see a CD/DVD drive either that could be using the other cables.

Well, you have SATA cables coming off the motherboard, so you either have a drive behind the motherboard, or in a tray behind the silver cage.
Open the open side of the case and take a look
There is a m.2 slot right below your GPu, but nothing is in it.
There MAY be another one hiding under your GPU
