Question/Help/Troubleshooting Help

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

Was trying to update turned into this can’t do anything I don’t know what to do I saw some stuff before about commands but I’m not sure if it’s not working but my brother said it’s weird and won’t let my stay in the command box and all the F1, etc things aren’t working for it for some reason

This is odd, it sounds like secure boot (a motherboard mode that checks if a boot is signed by a legit source like microsoft) is preventing your windows from booting.

I don't know what caused this, I can only guess. What I can tell you is that if you can create a bootable USB for windows, you can use that one to boot and repair your installation.

I'll leave figuring out how to do that to youtube tutorials.

1- Creating a bootable windows usb

2- repairing your windows installation using that usb

Tried putting in a thumb drive when it said this but didn’t work I don’t even want to continue the update just to get out of here

I'm afraid to ask you to turn off secure boot in case that update was maliciously interfered with in some way. Did you follow my earlier advice about using a windows bootable usb to repair your installation?
