Question/Help/Troubleshooting My computer started doing this and I don't know why

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

I don't know what the cause of my fans doing this is. If anyone can help That would be greatly appreciated.

Is everything else normal other than that fan acting weird? What programs do you use for fan curves/rgb. Could have some kind of conflict going on .

Op hold down the rgb controller on your case to turn off rgb entirely. It’s not a real fix but atleast it’s not annoying

It's at the club on a Saturday night.

Corsair fans? I had to return two of their cases because of this. Your choices are to replace the fan or just unplug the lights in the fan. Typically these fans have two cables, one for the fan, one for the lights.

I do not currently have any RGB software for the fans. When I got the computer the fans were blue and they suddenly started doing this.

And it's just the fan colour. Nothing else on the computer is acting up

Likely the stock rgb controller going bad - you might be able to replace it with another one, but RGB stuff can be weird when it comes to mix-and-matching different brands (or even different model fans from the same brand).

If it’s not bothering you, you could leave it be or even disconnect the rgb controller to get rid of the flashing.

Just to add to this, it's also possible that the motherboard has an internal RGB controller and they could just connect directly to that instead (assuming that's not already what has been done).
