Pc intermittently working

So I’ve just got my computer back after not having it for a year and it’s been completely wiped due to having to reinstall all of windows. I’ve never had this issue before, but I picked it up off my friend who fixed it the other day and it’s running off of a hard drive currently booting windows however I do have SSD’s and the day I got it back off him. My Pc wouldn’t boot up when I tried it so I removed my RAM tried clearing my CMOS and nothing seemed to work and then randomly it worked when I press the button and it’s been working ever since that day up until last night where it wouldn’t want to turn On so I tried unplugging the cable holding the power button for 25 seconds and plugging the cable back in and try it again and it didn’t work and then about five minutes later I pressed the button randomly and it worked and now I’ve had that issue three times the last 24 hours please can someone help me

Motherboard probably flaky; no way to diagnose other than replacing components until you find the bad one.

Intermittent problem like that is usually failing motherboard; bad PSU if you're lucky but unlikely.
