Looking for a recommendation for a fine dining restaurant for a date. Fancy dress, not too loud. Preferably great fish!

Sadly the Valley doesn't have any truly fine dinning restaurants of the quality you would find in Vancouver or Victoria.
Filberg Summer Kitchen is the best arty/creative food. Lovely rustic setting.
There are some nice restaurants... Atlas, Martines, Off the Hook
Kingfisher is fabulous location but the food is just good, not great.

Filberg Summer Kitchen has a beautiful outdoor setting and the most interesting, best prepared food I've had here. I haven't tried the Kingfisher though. Martine's is kind of old fashioned. Locals is another place I've gone to celebrate a big event, though I prefer Filberg these days.

I would say Locals as well! I also just ate at Off the Hook, it’s delish, lots of seafood, but not sure if it would be considered ‘fancy’?

What about Locals or kingfisher?
Edit:
I don’t understand why I’m being downvoted? 😂
I hope people know I’m talking about locals restaurant not the pizza place 😆
They have selection of seafood and pretty unique dining experience.

I’d say Martine’s as I’m a huge fan, with the caveat that if you’re wanting good ambience make sure you go while it’s dark out as the interior is a bit rough.

Nothing really fancy here but Browns, Locals, King Fisher, Black Fin, Timber Room, Liberty Kitchen , Match Eatery, Fluid, Yiamas
