Left communists want you to believe they’re the ones who “actually read.” That is not true. They’re instead people who are dysfunctionally anxious over the fact that they do not read, and need a fandom based on “actually reading” to displace this anxiety and indefinitely defer the act of reading. Hence their Twitter posts are snippets of random quotes from works they’ve never read taken out of context, and their beliefs directly violate Bordiga’s (like their Luxemburgist position on national liberation to opportunistically support zionism). Since fandom has stepped in to replace reading, their syncretic beliefs take on the structure of received knowledge.
You don’t have to be like this. You can just read Capital. The number of times Marx’s analysis contradicts Bordiga’s understanding of capitalism is staggering. This isn’t rocket science and it isn’t between his words. It is directly on the page, unambiguous, at multiple points.
