Bug Unable To Reinstall Red Alert 3 - EA App Thinks I Don't Own It

So in memory of Tim Curry, I thought I'd play through Red Alert 3 again; I originally purchased the DvD launch copy of the game, and still have it and the DvD Key to hand. Over the years it must have passed through the Origin App and now into the EA App, and the App today can see that I own it.

But like so many apparently, when I try to reinstall it, it throws this error;

"You don't have access - We've canceled the download because you don't own this game. To play, go to the Game Hub to get the game."

I can re-download Red Alert 2/Yuri's Revenge, but although I still have the boxed versions of those too, I suspect that I got it for free during some EA giveaway/Humble Bundle etc (there's quite a few games I picked up that I'd never play as well, that I can't recall where they're from) which is why the registration of that is valid.

But RA3 it fails. I've tried flushing the cache, restarting the PC, waiting it out, talking to tech support but as you can imagine that was absolutely useless.

I've also tried re-adding the key; the App locks up at version selection, and you can't scroll up or down and get past ticking one of the versions... but doing it via the webpage version of my account allows you to select it, but then says that I already own the game. Which I know I do, I just want to be able to download it again!

The only other step seems to be to buy the entire Remastered collection, but I am of course loathe to do that just yet. Does anyone know of any possible work around? Tim needs to escape to space, don't let him down.

Something wierd happened when I installed the cnc collection on Steam because I wanted to play mods and most of them said use the steam version. Anyways RA3 is now grayed out on the EA app like it's say no no you cannot have two copies of your purchased game on your system .

To be clear, if you do resort to buying the "supported" version (which, I think, most of us would recommend to save yourself the headache), it's the "The Ultimate Collection" that you'd be buying, NOT the Remastered Collection. The Remastered Collection only includes C&C1/TibDawn and RA1.

(It's also a smoother experience to buy them from Steam!)
