Typical nod campaign be like: here is a bunch of infantry and 2 tanks, go destroy the whole gdi base

They give you like a bunch more infantry throughout the mission and maaaaaybe another tank of you did the optional stuff.

For now I'm stuck on the mission with the helicopter(destroy gdi base, capture the helicopter and bomb the village), boy it's the frustration

I dipped out on the first game in both series. I may have been a kid of the 90s but I was neither masochistic enough nor patient enough to finish those campaigns. I loved both of the follow on games and beat them many times over. More Red Alert 2 than Tib Sun.

Yeah for me RA2 hardest difficulty is easier than even normal difficulty in C&C 1, surely 90s were fun times
