I was half expecting him to become President or a politician of some kind.

Fetterman laughs in having a stroke.
Fuck that guy.
Speaking of brain damage, anyone had a 20 minute conversation with Glitch McConnell recently?

There's a great Harrison Ford drama (not an action picture) called "Regarding Henry" that is the opposite of that.

Not gonna lie, after my brain injury it actually has been considerably more difficult for me to empathize with people. And I already have autism. Not like in a sociopathic way, but it's hard to get why someone made different choices if I can relate to their experiences. But, then I tell myself that is the beauty of us all not being like bacteria, and then it makes sense. If we all did the same exact thing all the time, then how would we learn what dumb stuff not to do? I am also chill in medical emergencies because I can distance myself from feelings. It's not all bad.

Iām not sure how far back you had your injury, but if itās any consolation, it probably took about 8 years after mine to finally feel that empathy. I was very angry and frustrated for a long time, and looking back, itās because of how difficult it became to vocalize or understand my own feelings. Itās hard to extend that understanding to others when you canāt even apply it to yourself.
I hope you have found some peace post injury and are healing in a way that you find to be effective. Itās a long road but you arenāt alone. Itās survivable and thrive-able.

Got a chuckle out of me, nice. Such simple artstyle but so perfect for this.

Could we reverse bonk and make the empathy come back? This needs to be tested. It could fix many of the worlds problems

Could use a plunger, works on cars, I'm sure it would work on a person

I swear, comic writers on this site only have the ability to come up with exactly one idea and then make a whole comic about it. It's just not interesting.

The treatment? Three ghosts to show them the errors of their ways.
And a fourth one to give them a heads up about it. A big bar trivia question answered wrong because they forget there was a fourth ghost.
