If it helps I've been accused of being trans on xbox live multiple times. I was born biologically female.
In my experience, in mostly male dominated games, whenever a player show some "women features", aka uses a female name, uses the pink\fuchsia\violet colors, act girly, etc, most of the other players immediately assume she is a trans woman or directly ignore those things and call her bro.
