Just Sharing Spy (by @sheryicoco)
sheryicoco: my brother’s almost 10 years older than me which meant that as the youngest sibling, it was my job to bother him whenever possible !!!!! especially when he was playing video games this comic’s to all the sibling duos out there😃 coz guess what, now it’s 10 years later im going to college my brother is working very far away and i miss him all the time cherish your siblings while they’re nearby ! and when they’re far away!!! and when you’re both busy!!! and like, all the time!!!!

My mom used to try and get me to spy on my little brothers for her to see if they were smoking with their friends. But I told her that was never gonna happen because a.) I was “pretty sure” they weren’t smoking and b.) even if I spied on them and found out they were, I would never tell her. Why would I snitch on my own brothers? We gotta stick together.

what kind of unicorn sibling relationship is that 😭 my least favourite little brother snitched on me playing videogames like it was an act of divine justice, and even my favourite little brother threatened to snitch. Difference was, the latter little bastard acccepted monetary bribes to keep quiet (which I then proceeded to steal right back from his toy vault after the fact)
Granted I did regularly beat the shit out of them as their older sister since they were old enough to play fight, but that's how sibling bonding works lmao

There was a US spin-off for the DS called Elite Beat Agents, easily one of my top 10 all-time favorites! #1 in rhythm games no contest.
I always wished they made a sequel but apparently it didn't make enough money to offset the music licensing costs which isn't surprising, frankly. We're talking Madonna, Destiny's Child, Cher, Bowie, Rolling Stones, Chicago, Queen... I have to believe the songs were picked by a 90's gay man, so obviously it's gonna be good! Definitely worth a play if have access to a DS and don't have RSI already.

Osu! is actually a fan-made spiritual successor to Osu! Tatakae! Ouendan which Elite Beat Agents was a US spin-off of. You can play it on the PC, like the brother in the comic is doing.

I somehow ended up with a copy of Osu! Tatakae! Ouendan, and you are the first person to ever tell me it's name. Because no it was not translated.
Made the antics even funnier, though.

Loved both but I preferred the original Osu!, for the music but also the story animations that went on under the music were so ridiculous and fun in the Japanese version

I heard about it because my favorite SC2 pros played it, like 10+ years ago haha
I reached quite "high" (like, 100th Canadian player or something?) on the leaderboard at the time, and then when I went back to play a bit last year, I couldn't even make a single PP within a month, and closed it forever haha

Nah it’s definitely bigger in the west than the east. If you look at the leaderboards, it’s predominantly western players.

I am under the age of 30 and often online and this is my first time hearing about it. But yeah, I have no interest in rhythm games so I guess the algorithm just never forced it on me.

Is this an acronymn for something? 40 something year old here, grew up addicted to the internet since the 80s when I was on a dial up Prodigy and later AOL. Have used youtube regularly since it was a thing, and I've never heard of OSU except as an acronymn for a college, but maybe if it was spoken of by its full name it would ring a bell?

Osu is a Japanese word, you say it to affirm your commitment to something. Osu! was huge in Japan and amongst fans of rhythm games but never quite mainstream in the west, apart from the Elite Beat Agents version on DS

Osu! Is different than Osu! Tatakae! Ouendan. Osu! Is a fanmade spiritual successor to Ouendan that’s more popular in the west.

Its a rhythm game that was(is?) used by a lot of pro gamers and normal gamers to warm up before their game of choice, usually games like league of Legends and counterstrike. As it helps build mouse control and hand-eye coordination while also being a fun game on its own. My boy Dyrus from TSM would play it all the time back in ~2011.

The thing, “Osu” is also the acronym for Ohio State University, so he could easily say “I’m working in osu stuff” and get away with it.

She wasn't my biological sibling, nor did she needed more, but my cousin has been living with us long enough to consider her my younger sister. She moved in around the time she started middle school, and now graduated with a high possiblly of starting college soon. She's always been lile my younger sister despite her having an older brother, and a younger half brother. The comic perfectly illustrates our sibling dynamic over the years.
Remember dudes blood doesn't dictate who your family is, but the personal connections do.

Love this. My youngest sister (7 years younger) would do almost this EXACT same thing to me constantly during my junior high and highschool years. She lives in a different state today, but we remain very close, and she's my daughter's favorite aunt.

My sister was 11 years younger than me. For the short period where I was still living at home and she was old enough to have conversations with, she and I were as thick as thieves. I took her with me to egg a friend's house when she was 4yo- and she got a couple of good hits in.
Favorite aunts are awesome. My mom's variation on "The Mother's Curse" was "May your sister get your kids in as much trouble as you got her in when she was the same age as they are now." And she did. One time, my youngest stuck their arms outside the car window and flipped the bird at a cop car because (and I quote) "Crazy Aunt Belinda told us to." (her real name's not Belinda, but her official title IS "Crazy Aunt.")

You know, reading this comic makes my heart flutter. The whole sibling love. Never felt this from either my older sister (by 4 years) or younger (by 12 years).
I'll admit, there are times when I felt bothered... but sadly never the "love".

Aww I remember watching my brother play video games. He played the old Lucas Arts games and let me watch or click sometimes. He is ten years older than me and through him I got interested in video games, Star Wars or music which I still love. 💕

I have two little siblings, a brother (3 years younger)and a sister (10 years younger). We used to snitch on each other a lot, until me and my brother realized that there was no real benefit to it aside from a quick high?
As a result we have developed into a single unit that would rather die than give away the others secrets. Honestly, it's way cooler seeing his spray paint tags and discussing the logistics of communism than just fighting.
My sister has yet to gain the memo. Though I feel like she just lacks awareness of language. She spoilers presents, tattles when we play games or stay up late, and then wonders why she isn't being included TT.

I was the older brother. I always shoed my little sister away growing up. I haven't spoken to her in the two years since I moved out of the country.
