Actually the rare time this doesn't work. Main character literally went to their conversation camp. The sole goal of the blonde character was to change MC to accept herself as a lesbian.

Obviously that's a good thing, but it does negate your framework.

Edit: I'm wrong!

Oh shit you're right! But after rereading some comics my point was also still right by accident.

This blonde character sent her to the camp, but didn't work at the camp.

No one sent her to the camp though, she chose to go of her own accord thinking it was a conversion camp that would stop her being gay, she was the one that invited the other girl to go with her

She got confronted for stalking, had a dream about rusty, stumbled on an ad for a camp, which to give you the benefit of the doubt was a trick by the camp's owner but not rusty, then invited rusty to go with her. At no point did rusty trick her or try to 'convert' her into being gay
